These are great. My wife uses them to melt chocolate and doesn't have to use mitts anymore to handle the bowl. She was using a glass bowl previously. They're very light and sturdy.

Solid, good product

I just got these about a week ago. I liked them because they could be used in the microwave but they were still lightweight. This morning I used one for the first time. I made cream of wheat in the dark blue bowl and stirred it up with a fork just like I normally would and when I went to wash it, it had deep scratches all over the place. I doubt it will hold up very well. It looks horrible and it's brand new.

I am a fan of Nordic Ware, and have many 9f their products, including heirloom quality cookie stamps and figural/shaped bundt pans, and some of their plastic cake keepers. Overall, I have been very happy with them. Since I have been trying to find nice light bowls for my aspiring tween baker, I naturally gravitated toward this set, based on the quality I have come to associate with the Nordic Ware name. What a disappointment. Upon opening the box directly drop shipped from Nordic Ware, I couldn't believe this could possibly be one of their products. This cheap, poorly made, light, plastic set of bowls wouldn't be worth $10, and that's rounding up to the nearest $10, let alone $25. I estimate I could find better offerings at my local dollar store, so, unfortunately, the search for tween-proof mixing bowls continues. Incongruous quality across the Nordic Ware product line.

the bowls themselves are decent... their biggest issue is with the lids. in my set only the smallest blue bowl had a lid that came close to staying on. the other bowls lids just laid on top with no way of staying on. one wrong move and the lid falls off. basically about as good as laying a paper plate on the top. the nonslip on the bottom of the bowl is nice. so if you need bowls, these are ok, but the lids are really pointless and don’t stay on at all.

Love this set of bowls. Goes from serving to leftover to microwave. Very nice looking.

They are great for mixing or heating food

These lids just sit on the bowls they do not lock on.

Great product at a good price

Nice bowls. I like the bottom that stays put in the counter while you mix.
