Great for height challenged people like myself. I needed that extra step to reach the tops of my cabinets.

This is pretty great. Got it for my husband, but I've used it more than him and I absolutely love it.

Bought as a replacement for one lost in 2016 flood. Strong and sturdy utility household work platform

I found this ladder in southern California and bought it to use at my son's house in 2010. I liked it so much that this year, I ordered two for my house to replace my older three-step ladder. 1. It won't pinch your fingers between the tray and the handle when you fold it for storage (which its predecessor did). 2. The utility tray is big, deep, and wide enough to hold the new plastic paint trays that I like, but that won't fit on a conventional step ladder tray. The hooks on the paint tray slide over the inside of the utility tray which is deep enough to keep the paint tray very stable. 3. It has a one-hand release of the locking mechanism instead of a hand on each side bracket like the old ladder (which could also pinch fingers). 4. It is safe for a 225 pound person which makes it feel very solid for anyone under 200 pounds. 5. Even in the kitchen, where I didn't think I cared about the utility tray, I discovered that I love having an easy-to-reach place to stash whatever-I-just-got-down-from-the-top-shelf while I get off the ladder safely. When I went back to my son's house this year and used his again, I had to fight to get it away from his friends since we all preferred it to the other three-step ladder that he bought earlier. I love this ladder!

product itself is very useful and steady with extra large service tray at the top which is great for sotring tools and hardware needed for job without having to go up and down the steps to retrieve different tools and hardware once in place. I would recommend selecting item from store stock, as item was shipped and damaged upon arrival, thus causing trip to the store anyway.

I love how stable this ladder feels and the ease with which it folds up. I do a lot of painting my own walls inside my home and this Cosco Max Work Steel Platform Ladder is designed to make painting easier and with its added tray you have a place for all your work tools to make the job go smoothly. If you are a do-it-yourself homeowner you are gonna love this ladder.

A little dissapointed with this product. It does not have the carry handle like in the picture and was rated for over 300 pounds. Also no paper towel holder as the picture shows. The true Cosco one (black and yellow in color) is more money but very sturdy and has all the ammenitys mentioned. This said it did but it doesnt.. So I am a bit dissapointed with the product.Over all a good ladder for older people..

I chose this ladder for its wide, stable steps and the tray, but it has so much more to offer. Not shown or mentioned in the description is info about the handy tray. There are holes to hang brushes. There are depressions sized for gallons and quarts to hold the cans steady. There is a rim around it to keep things from falling. The hand grips are non-slip. The feet are wide and have built in grips. I am just over 5' tall and can reach the ceiling when on the third step. This was intelligently designed and very reasonably priced for the quality of this product. The only thing I think would improve it would be to have the support between the back legs raised up a few inches so it rests on the feet instead of a bar when the surface is a bit uneven. I would definitely recommend this ladder if you have a need for this size.

I bought this step-stool ladder because being older I cannot climb on furniture etc., like I used to. Now, when I want to change a light-bulb; replace batteries in my alert, fire-alarms; sort through items in the higher kitchen cabinets; and especially change my curtains....I no longer have to struggle or call for someone to help me. This ladder is so sturdy, the steps are secure and bigger than the usual steps on ladders, and it has the bar to hold on to at the top. Plus, there is a place to put tools, paint cans, just whatever you need to have right at hand. I don't find it heavy to carry to wherever I need to place it and, though it is taller in inches once folded, it fits neatly into my closet. I love it and have been using it since I bought it!

Love this ladder. Sturdy, stable, not too heavy, well designed. We love the wide steps which help keep feet from getting tired and sore. The shelf is well designed for gallon and quart paint cans and holding tools. The surface is easy to clean, even after paint has dried on. A terrific ladder for household use.
