It may help to know that our Free & Clear version of Powerwash is not scent-free. In fact, it has a light pear fragrance. The labelling includes the words, "Free & Clear" because there's no dye in the soap, so you can see right through it - as it's clear. We always expect you'll be able to comfortably use Dawn Powerwash, and we're concerned that you've had issues with this. If this occurs, we encourage you to stop using the Spray, but put the bottle in a safe spot. Don't use the spray or toss it out in case we need you to send it back to us. It’s specially formulated to provide rapid cleaning on even the toughest greasy messes! For best results, only add water during rinsing. If water is added earlier, it’ll dilute the cleaning power of the product. If you’re washing heavily soiled dishes, we suggest letting the spray foam suds sit for 3-4 minutes before wiping and rinsing. While this product isn’t meant to have an off-odor, it may smell differently than intended when mixed with certain foods. We wouldn't expect Dawn to impart the product taste into food. However, if the soap isn't completely rinsed off, or if the dishes have become porous, it may be possible. If certain items always pick up a flavor, they're probably worn to the point of being porous and should be washed by hand.
