We're sorry you had that experience. While it is not common, when this happens it is usually because of one of two reasons. Run warm water over the nozzle for a few minutes to loosen any clogs that may have occurred. It could also be that the dip tube doesn’t reach the solution or is facing in the wrong direction. The correct direction for the dip tube is in the same direction of the sprayer and the bottom of it should be in the corner.To change the direction of the dip tube, disconnect the sprayer from the bottle and reconnect it. We can assure you that our products do go through many quality checks, and we’d be happy to share some tips to get it back to spraying. First, please make sure that the trigger is unlocked. To do this, check to see that the yellow cutouts on the top are lined up. You may need to do 3-5 full trigger pulls to begin spraying. We also suggest squeezing the body of the bottle while pulling the trigger, since this should force out any trapped air. We hope this helps!
