Absolutely worst bag of Scotts Turf Builder I have ever received product was so clumped up I had to use a two-by-four to smash it to spread it. Clumps jammed the feed door open and spread excessive product. then I had to walk my front lawn and pick up all the clumps. Excessive moisture in the bag when it was packaged because the bag was sealed tight

I have used the Scott's product for the last couple of years and there has been a significant decrease in the weeds that appear the next spring.

I live in northern Texas, just north of Dallas. I applied Bonus S in late Feb. It is now the first half of April and the lawn is greening up beautifully! I was concerned about the weeds, they seemed to unaffected but with a little time and patience they are dying off. The odd thing though was the grass in my back yard reacted faster to the application than the grass in the front yard. Then I found out why. I came across the original documents of our home and they showed that when the house was originally built in 2000 St. Augustine grass was put down in the front and Bermuda was put down in the back. I will follow the plan that Scotts web site came up with and with a little luck (and a lot of patience) I will get the lawn that I desire.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Weed and Feed product did what the advertisements said it would do...it fed my lawn and killed the dollarweed and clover which was rampant in my lawn. Grass is a lovely green without the dollarweed and clover showing through.

I have used Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S for over 20 years, and this product works as advertised. This product will definitely promote growth, and it kills the weeds in the process so your lawn will be thick and beautiful by following the directions on the package.

Last year I used a spray liquid weed stop and a few weeks later used Turf Builder. I was told I wasted my money so this year I bought Bonus S Weed & Feed for St. Augustine (Southern Grasses). My yard has turned a beautiful green but the weeds are as strong as the grass. Should I apply Turf Builder in a few weeks and hope it smothers the weeds? Should I spray weed stop in a couple weeks? When is it safe to try and kill the weeds again? I love the green but I hate when it comes from weeds. All of my neighbors have an excellent yard. I normally dominate but they are catching up and we can't have someone else have a lawn that looks better than mine. If they all go up a level then I need to go up two levels. Weed & Feed from Scotts is not making that happen.

Although, it is fairly soon, I do seem to notice some of the early weeds to be wilting. My grass is coming in a vibrant green. The area that I applied this on has centipede. I have another area with bermuda where I'll have to use something different, since the directions state that it cannot be used there. Overall, I would recommend this product.
