This product does not prevent new weed development only kills weeds that were actively growing at the time of application. Product must be watered in to be effective. Be sure that the target weed is on the label. For best results, apply when daytime temperatures are consistently between 65-85 degrees. Drought stressed plants can not readily absorb the herbicide.
