I have been using Scott products since 1972 on Zoysia and St Augustine grasses . I have always used Scootts Spreaders - drop and rotary. I have been impressed that Scotts continue to increase its brand across many lines that I also used with gardening and weeds control.

This is the first time I have used Scotts products on my yard and I am pleased with the results.Using the Scotts spreader made it easy to put out and my grass is now a deep green and looks beautiful.

I used this product two months ago - 10 bags worth on my property. Used as directed and then fall set in. Well the only thing that is growing well are the weeds. I do not believe this killed a single weed, in fact the dandelions are grownhg bigger and faster along with a number of others. This is junk, I wish I could get my money back. Scott's is terrible, never, ever use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most consistent yard treatment I have had the pleasure of using over my 40 or so years of lawn care. My southern yard seems to be under attack early each Spring from dozens of types of weeds, especially after a wet winter. Starting three years ago I added a late Summer treatment of Bonus S and now each Spring I fight few if any weeds. We have had a VERY mild Winter in Arkansas and I anticipated a bad early Spring attack but it has been minimal. I usually hold off until around April 1st with my first Bonus S treatment but because we have had many 70 degree and a few 80 degree days already I treated my yard two weeks ago. My zoysia usually does not show any signs of life until around May 1st is already showing patches of green which I attribute to my Bonus S. I suggest this product to all my friends and neighbors and have had many thank me, it is first class in every respect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Killed most weeds within two weeks. Yellow sage, although weaken, didn't die. Still worked better than other products I have tried. I applied late in the evening when the grass was good and dry. I picked the day when rain was forecast within 24 hours. Received .89 inches of rain. I believe that was a good approach in applying the product. I plan on using again by late summer or early fall.

You must consider the time that you spend going to buy a lawn food item, and the time that you spend getting your yard ready to apply it, applying it and watering it in, then why take a chance on buying a cheaper product with unknown results. My results have always been nothing short of spectacular. The lawn is a beautiful verdant green and the weeds are all gone. I did buy a cheaper product once and the results were less than satisfactory so I urge you to learn from my mistake!

This is the only weed & feed I will ever use....I tried the other cheaper brands....but you get what you pay for!!!! My St. Augustine is thick, green and cool to the touch even in the extreme dry spell we are experiencing in Texas!! The only complaint I could come up with is that it's so much more expensive.

I applied this March 25th in Shreveport Louisiana. Clover and weeds are actively growing and have been here for several weeks now. At. Augustine is greening up but not growing at normal rate yet. Highs have been in the 70’s and some days low 80’s. Clover is taking over my yard and again is growing and flowering. When will I start to see weeds die off and stop growing?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The combination of weed and feed specifically for southern yards is great. The weeds were completely gone in just a couple of weeks. The lawn is now a deep green from the fertilizer. Bonus S saves time for applying weed and feed.

I purchase a bag of Bonus S (10, 000 sq ft ) for my my St Augustine lawn in Florida that had dollar weed, applied Jan8 and watered immediately after application. As of Feb 2 it did nothing to kill the dollar weed much less other weeds that start growing this time of year. Something seriously wrong with this product
