I maybe laid down too late in the year, and did not know there was weed killer it this product. I thought the only weed killer was true weed & feed. Nice to know weed killer in others -- should put in all fertilizers.

The closer the grass gets to undeveloped lot next door the more weeds appear. Not the fault of the Weed & Feed, it’s the proximity to “bad seed” Happy with results, may try another application sooner than recommended in “problem” area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I fertilized with Scott's Turf Builder Bonus S Southern Weed and Feed 2, following the instructions on the bag. I also used a Scott's Edge Guard Broadcast Spreader at the recommended setting. Watching the weather, I applied the product just prior to a good soaking rain. Within two days the grass was noticeably greener. Within 5 days the lawn was thicker and some of the few weeds that I did have showed signs of distress. Time will tell how effective the weed control properties really are, however, the greening power and a healthier looking lawn has been achieved as advertised. I would recommend this product without hesitation or reservation. I live in Central Florida and have a Floratam variety of St. Augustine grass. I'm a satisfied user of Scott's products, have used their products for years and will continue using their products in the future.

I use to work at a hardware store and have sold this product to many customers. I've also gone to two Scott's seminars and learned details about Scott's products. It has always worked very well and as advertised. I still find the Bonus S to be a little bit too expensive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this fertilizer on my lawn four weeks ago, and it looks super great! Very deep green, filling in where there was dirt, and pushing out the weeds. Good watering is a must, but it was really helped with a few South Florida downpours.

I have a healthy 2 year old yard that was starting to have a few weeds so after doing the research I purchased this product. I followed the schedule and directions exactly and had ZERO results on the weeds, actually they started growing and spreading faster. I had to hire a professional company to apply multiple rounds of treatment to save the lawn, very expensive mistake. If you live in SW Florida let the licensed professionals handle your lawn care and avoid the problems I had.

My lawn greened up fast and tho I did have a few weeds from applying late, Southern Weed and Feed kept yard weed free all season. I will use this product again next year-very happy with results.

From mowing to edging, and pruning to generally keeping the conversation going between all the plants and grass in the area. We practice baseball, football, and even track and field on and around the grass, trees, bushes, and being careful of my wife's flowers (that sometime become part of the action). However, no matter how much you take care, a well manicured yard (grass) is under attack by weeds. What to do? Pulling weeds only seems to delay the inevitable emergence of those dastardly monsters. The Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S Southern Weed & Feed 2 has been my savior. We apply it either right before a rain making sure that we water once the application has been completed seems to keep the situation under control. The grass is thicker and the weeds get "choked" out, so maybe I watch to maybe SciFi movies but this is WAR. It is easy to apply and does not clump in the Scotts spreader. I have a 40x70 back yard and this covers that area first horizontal and then vertically. I want to make sure that it is covered.
