My neighbor used this product two weeks ago in our new development. All of the homes have had sod installed about a year ago and our yards look exceptionally horrible. After 2 weeks, his yard looks outstanding. It literally looks luscious and I don't think I've ever used that word when describing grass! Needless to say, I borrowed the spreader, bought the product and am doing mine today! I will update in two weeks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recommend using a drop spreader if you have a lot of flowers and shrubbery against your lawn. I found that I did not get even coverage because I was afraid to get close to my landscaping plants. Super product!

I live in NE Texas. I have used this product since the mid 2000s. I swear by this stuff! It kills out all the annoying weeds, but best of all, I put this out at the end of May and again in September, and while my neighbors have to wear shoes outside, I can be confident that my grandchildren can run out the back door with no shoes on and not step on a sharp sticker big! !!!!!!WARNING!!!!! When I put it out in May, my green yard appears to almost die!! DO NOT FREAK OUT! This is just all the weeds dieing off! Those few bits of green left, is your actual grass! It will start growing back very nicely in about 2 weeks. After a few seasons of treating your yard, it won't be so bad. But believe, if you do not put this out next season, all of those old weeds will pop right back up!

I applied this to my lawn in April also used max green in June Over the summer my lawn is now dying It did look wonderful to start with but now there are weeds and large area's that are dead. Have been using this product before with no problems. My neighbor also has the same problems as his lawn is dying also

I applied this prod using Scotts spreader as instructions,now have patches of dead st.Augustine grass,weeds are still growing, more powerfull ,very happy about this experiment.Iam so disapoited,this product is not for st.Augustine,how, can I fix it?,how much it will cost? Hundreds? to install sod,grass is gone totally,now I have dirt spots and creeping weeds around, weeds are not uffected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to apply. Works as designed. Easy clean up. I spread it as instructed and was able to do my whole lawn In one hour. Would definitely recommend this as a weed and feed for St Augustine lawns.

I use this every year and this year it killed my lawn. My neighbor (not next door) used it and it killed theirs too. We both have St Augustine. We used this product and within a month or so, lawn was dying. I don’t know if it will come back next year. I’m done with this stuff!

I waited until the weather warmed up and the grass was greened up from dormancy like the instructions said. I applied the product and now 2 weeks later the weeds are semi-dead AND SO IS MY GRASS! The grass turned dark green/black and curled up on the ends at first. Now it's dead. I worked 3 years to establish this lawn and now it's for nothing. Very upset.
