I was determined not to buy scotts as I've never had much success. Unfortunately when I was at the hardware store to buy a weed killer I was swayed by a Scott's rep to buy the bonus s weed and feed. Bad decision as after 1 week all the weeds are still flourishing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought bonus S weed &feed a few weeks ago...I have a small yard so I applied the product with a hand spreader. I like that it is formulated for my region, there were a few weeds as we just came out of winter. Only 3 weeks later no weeds and the grass is nice and green! So, except for mowing and trimming I am done till summer; absolutely wasted the weeds and greened up my yard.

I have used Scott's products for about 6yrs and until now and it had performed very well. My home is near Charleston, SC. I applied Bonus S per directions and used a Scott’s edge guard spreader to my centipede lawn put down by the builder. I had watered it and it even rained. Well after a couple of weeks my lawn was wiped out!! I used to have the greenest lawn but now I have dirt and burnt yellow areas. So after figuring out by a friend, all this started last year! The very same issue happened last year! I had no clue what had happened!! I received a few complaint letters from my HOA and I told them if you can figure out what’s going on I’ll fix it!! Well I quickly squashed that issue by other means but I was sick to my stomach about my lawn because my Dad lived by Scott’s products so I did too! So when I applied the Bonus S last year I had some left over for this year. Well I used it again this year unknowingly that my lawn would die again!!! So I’m know waiting to get letters my HOA and I’ll be contacting Scott’s to see what they, if anything, will do.

You must consider the time that you spend going to buy a lawn food item, and the time that you spend getting your yard ready to apply it, applying it and watering it in, then why take a chance on buying a cheaper product with unknown results. My results have always been nothing short of spectacular. The lawn is a beautiful verdant green and the weeds are all gone. I did buy a cheaper product once and the results were less than satisfactory so I urge you to learn from my mistake!

Despite the prevalence of dollar weed in southern lawns, I haven't seen one in years since using this product.Unfortunately, since I use a drop spreader, instead of broadcast, I run the risk of striping my lawn. But, I can easily tell that the product works. Especially, early in the growing season.

Second year in a row I have purchased this product with the same result. More weeds and less grass. I would seek my money back but it was purchased with a gift card, now I will be forced to find a product that works as advertised. Fool me twice...my bad. You have lost a customer.

Have used this product for many years this year it did not kill weeds. I had dollar weed in my yard again this year i spread weed and feed the same way i have done for the past 10 years . It did not even turn one dollar weed brown i suspect Scotts changed the formula

Watch things grow without the weeds choking your beautiful grass! Can’t get more simple with the directions on package. Spread, water and watch it do it’s magic! Just love it!

Put this on my lawn -purchased it because of the name - and it has killed my St. Augustene grass. Grass was lush last year - this year I bought this product in order to weed and feed my lawn - followed instructions to the letter - 3 weeks letter it's dead. Now what? Extremely disappointed.
