[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our front lawn was looking really bad following a wet winter and cinch bug damage. It had been taken over by dollar weeds too. The lawn was thin, patchy and an embarrassment but after applying Scott's Turf Builder Plus for Southern Lawns within a couple of weeks we have a healthy, green lawn again! Even the patches caused by the cinch bugs have filled in and all of the weeds are gone too. It really is a miracle! I will use this product again and again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] received it and used it according to directions and it did a marginal job as far as killing the weeds in the lawn. green up was fair but seemed to disapate more quickly in comparision to other weed and feed products. overall i was not satisfied with the product and will not recommend it.

Without it, my lawn is covered with winter weeds, with it I just have a beautiful green lawn. I recommend it to all my friends and I would not do that if I didn't love the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put the Bonus S on my lawn a few weeks ago. The lawn is greener and lush looking after application. However I have not so far seen that it is helping with eliminating a patch of dollar weed in my back lawn. Maybe eliminating the dollar weed takes more time. Overall I recommend this product and will use it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had both over seeded my St Augustine grass in the winter and put down top soil to help it grow. Because of that I couldn't use HALTS to prevent weeds. Sure enough I got clover, dollar weeds, and some other kinds of weeds probably from the top soil. The Turf Builder Bonus S did a great job of cleaning up the clover and the dollar weeds (which can spread like crazy), greened up my lawn, and didn't hurt the St Augustine grass. I put it down before it rained so I know it would be watered in well. I think it is a very good product for the home owner trying to control these types of weeds and fertilize their lawns.

My whole lawn was covered in weeds with about 50% grass growing. I did not realize my yard was that bad until I applied Scotts Bonus S to my yard. It killed the weed and left the brown dead weed showing. Scotts Bonus S has greened up my lawn and the grass is really spreading. Thanks Scotts for a great product that is inexpensive and works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Turf Builder Bonus S last week and immediately spread it on my grass, then watered it in as directions stated. I have allready seen most of the weeds die and hopefully in the near future I will see a brighter, greener grass growing. It is still too early to tell, but I'm sure this Turf Builder will make a difference in my yard!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have used this product for 10 years. When we bought our house the yard was not in the best shape but it was St Augustine so I was happy. I have used Scott's Bonus S every year and my lawn is great! Texas is sometimes hot and dry and sometimes super soggy. I feel the Bonus S has strengthened my lawn to withstand either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied this product a bout a week ago, and I was able to see a quick greening and growth of grass and weeds too. Although my lawn has crab grass, clovers and dollar weeds right now, after approx. 3 days, I saw some browning on the leaves of the clovers. Not sure yet, but I believe a second treatment of this product will need to be applied within the expressed amount of time to retreat to further kill the clovers and dollar weeds. No such luck on the crabgrass, as the eradication of those are a different subject regarding a different Scott's product. The product did what it stated it would do and one can't expect much better than that. I would recommend this product for a greener St. Augustine lawn, but also suggest repeating treatment for enhanced root building and certain control of unwanted weeds. I did not rate it an overall 5 due to it not doing anything for the crabgrass weeds. Also, I was given a sample product to try by Scott's as a member of their Roots program, but this did not interfere with my honest assessment of this product.

I applied the product as recommended (in New Orleans here), actually applied a second time a week later. Dollar weeds are everywhere - I don't think it killed a one! I watered after applying, did everything as recommended on the package. I'm about to look online to see if there is any other recommended products - other than wait until it gets hot and those things die naturally.
