I had the same exact experience that a couple of other reviewers have described. When I bought my Keurig B40 coffee maker, it came with a sample pack of various coffee k cups, including the Caribou blend. The Caribou blend was by far the best coffee of the bunch in my opinion... it was one of the best coffees I have ever tried. It had an excellent body with a nice caffeine feel, not bitter or with any weird aftertaste... a nice pure coffee taste with some umph.. not too strong and definitely not weak. So I picked up a 16 pack of Caribou blend at a retailer and made some for myself and a friend and to my shock....it tasted like a completely different coffee.... bitter, no body, just very bad tasting like as if it were a bad brand of instant coffee that went stale. The date on it was fine and it was the exact same product. It was undrinkable. I also had a similar experience with the Donut Shop coffee. The sample was very good but the store bought one was bitter and strange tasting. My guess is either there is a consistency problem or maybe there was a bad batch that went out. I've decided to give the Caribou Blend (and Donut Shop) one last chance and have ordered it as my 2 free 24 pks that come with the first order. Hope these are good.

This coffee is light and mild with blended flavors. I think it is a great general all purpose coffee that fits any occasion. While it is not as strong as I normally prefer it is still one of my favorites because of its flavor. I brew on the 8 oz setting of a platinum B70 model.

Our family cannot get enough of this coffee. I just can't seem to keep up with the inventory. It's the fav around here and we think the best blend for everyone...those like myself who like a rich dark coffee, and those like my husband who likes a medium, smooth coffee. It fits all of us!

I've had my Keurig for about 18 months, and I've tried a LOT of different coffees in that time. I keep coming back to this Caribou Blend as my favorite "everyday" coffee. I'm not fond of the over-roasted "charred" flavor of too many "popular" brands (sorry, Starbucks), so this one strikes the perfect balance. It's a true MEDIUM roast, and has a nice smooth flavor that pairs well with flavored creamers or just "straight up." I brew it on the "8-oz" setting, which makes it about as strong as I like it. Good stuff!

In Philadelphia we have a roaster called La Colombe. it is hands down the best coffee on the East coast. I was hesitant to buy a Keurig because I would not be able to brew my favorite blend, Corsica. However, after tasting Caribou's house blend, I was sold. It is dare I say, very similar to La Colombe. after trying many other brands, Caribou is the only coffee I brew on my Keurig. Rich, smooth, not burnt

I was very impressed with this coffee. I am a fan of bold coffee. But I do enjoy a good medium roast. It had a pleasant aroma as it brewed. I have enjoyed a cup every afternoon. And even some of my girlfriends who are light roast coffee drinkers have made positive remarks on the flavor. It also still has a nice flavor when I add a touch of my flavored creamer into it.

This is a simple cup of coffee and for me, that's what makes it so great. I usually prefer light varieties and I steer clear of bold or dark varieties. With that said, this is the perfect cup of non-flavored coffeee for me. Not too dark, but not so light that it's watery. Just a good ol' cup of joe.

If you like your coffee a notch above the norm then this is it. It is smack dab in the middle of the very strong Starbucks types & Dunkin Donuts. It does have a bit of bitterness afterward but that is the norm with bold coffees. If you are a serious coffee person then you will love this type. A very good coffee & worth buying.

The gold top at 35% green was very good but the replacement green top 75% green is very bitter and leaves a very nasty after taste. I ordered gold top k-cups 160 at a time and my last order was 80 gold top & 80 green top. To conserve space I dumped them all into a box and I could not understand why one cup was good and another was bitter. When I make my coffee I do not always turn on all the llightd. I drink about 10 to 12 10oz cups a day so I use up k-cup quite fast. I did not pay any attention to the color of the tops until I reordered and they were all green tops and bitter.

I LOVE this coffee. I have tried many different K-Cups since I got my brewer. Before having the Kureg I drank Chock Full O' Nuts religiously (a New York Coffee). Had a hard time find something that came close to that with the K-Cups; most were far too strong, or very weak, and I couldn't stand using grounds with the Kureg, found this at Sam's Club and haven't stopped drinking it since!
