[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this gate so we can keep our toddlers out of certain rooms in the house. This gate is really tall and even my dogs cant jump it. The only thing i wish it had was self closing door i have to open it and turn around and lock it.

I looked for a baby/pet gate that was tall enough to keep out cats. I found only one other, but it needed two extensions to make it tall enough to keep out cats. It was also, with the two extensions, over $100. This gate is tall enough to keep out my very athletic cat and it's walk-through feature is great since we don't have a wide enough hallway to allow a gate to fully swing into it. The entrance is a little small (due to the walk-thru feature). It was wide enough for me to get through (carefully) when I was over 9 months pregnant and absolutely huge. Highly recommended.

This gate is GREAT!! Trying to keep the dogs from going upstairs to the bedrooms has always been difficult.. we used baby gates of all kinds and have ruined the sheetrock at the stairway with the pressure type gates. This gate actually has mounting hardware that makes it so that doesn't happen. It took about a half hour to install properly.. needed longer mounting screws (the ones supplied were too small) but thankfully my husband is a general contractor and had exactly what we needed. The gate is extra tall so that our mini-pin can't jump over it which was a must as well... she loves a challenge!! I would recommend this gate to everyone with similar issues.

Bought this gate to keep larger dog and smaller dogs apart. Works great for that. Larger dog doesn't try to jump on it and smaller dogs cannot fit between the bars( 4 pound toy poodles). Single hand opening is very useful. The gate is equipped with a tamper latch that prevents the larger dog from accidently opening. For the price unit is very well constructed. Since I have dogs the black color is great. The gate is shipped with four cups that you can attach to the door facing and keep animals or small children from pushing the gate down.

this gate has made it possible to put my five year old daughter in her room at night. she would come out all hours of the night waking her sister and myself up. this gate has made it possible to keep her in her room without putting her safety at risk. this gate is an answer to many sleepless nights.

This gate was fairly easy to install, but a little tricky on the fit. It didn't adjust to our stairway opening like we thought it would, but it ended up working out. It is a good gate and easy for me to get in and out and it keeps my daughter safe and where I want her. I would recomend this gate, just be aware that it may be a tricky fit for non standard size door ways.

We bought this gate in store and came home and tried to assemble it. It was difficult to assemble and when fully assembled the door was apparently improperly sautered on because it’s about 1 1/2 inches too short from being latched. Waste of time and money. Also feels cheaply made.

The nails were very cheap and as soon as my husband used his drill it stripped and he ended up having to use different ones. The instructions were unclear as well I ended up having to look up the setup on YouTube. Other than that the unit is sturdy and easy to move in and out of and it comes a little above my waist. (I'm 5'5).

This is a wonderful gate for dogs who jump high- it seems to keep them contained- We just love it. However if you are a bigger person you might want to get something eles- The gate door entrance is aprox 2 to 3 feet wide. & if you have lil bitty puppys they can get through the bars-just make sure your puppy is over 4 to 5pds- it will work perfect & you wont be disappointed-

I bought this to install at my kitchen entrance. I am using it for my dog, a golden retriever puppy who will apparently be able to scale the 30 inch versions of these gates when full grown. This has worked great for keeping her in one part of the house and gives her space when I am away - and I think the height will be beneficial. It's hard to say how durable it will be long-term, but quality and price seems to fit exactly what I needed.
