I owned 4 mini rice cookers at the moment . And this is the best so far ! The pot coat its amazing . I put 2 or 3 drops of oil and is enough for the 2 little cups of rice . Fast and compact . I am in love and obsessed with all about this brand . Long life for dash ! I

Used the mini rice cooker to prepare a meal for one. Ingredients included brown rice, frozen carrots slices, small porkchop, and pineapple tidbits. The cooking bowl is a little smaller than my old cooker so I ended up overfilling which caused spillage while cooking. I just need to adjust the amount of my Ingredients in the future. Perfect size for 1 person with no leftovers.

I am currently facing a huge reduction in my SNAP (food stamps) allotment next month along with 3 million others in my state. My new Dash Rice Cooker is helping me deal with this, as well as hyperinflation and food delivery chain unreliability, by almost 100% food waste elimination and/or substitution of ingredients right out of the box. I now cook almost 100% with this Rice Cooker only or alongside our more traditional natural gas powered kitchen stove limited to cook/bake only on special occasions due to rising natural gas prices. I have plenty of ideas & recipes gained via online videos & websites, "Rice Cooker" cookbooks, the local public library, and even my own modified recipes. I feel confident that I will be able to still eat very healthy, with good generous proportions, no skimping, and always enjoy hot delicious meals no matter what happens-or even if I don't have a kitchen anymore. Thank you Dash for creating such an affordable, cheery and very colorful little devices for people with fixed limited incomes, too!

We’ve been very satisfied with the Dash Egg Cooker that we decided to buy the Mini Rice Cooker. It’s cooks the right amount of the best Jasmine rice for us and as a supplement for our Springer Flat Coat Retriever.These low cost efficient cookers are great for home and ideal for or RV trailer on cross country trips... really innovative products!

Over the last 45 years I've owned about a dozen rice cookers, so this isn't new to me. With that said, this is a nice little rice cooker that does a great job of making a small pot of rice simply and easily. I just used it, followed the instructions and the rice came out perfect. Cleanup was easy and one cup was just the right amount for a late-night snack. If I'm making a meal for the family, this is not the cooker I'll use, but I may just keep this in my office for when I want a snack. Just two last things, one - Dash, please consider making a steamer tray for this unit, that would be awesome. The second thing - and this is just me saying, I always wash my rice before cooking and it makes a big difference. Maybe you could mention it in your instructions as an option.

I just got my Dash cooker and I have only used it once but, so far, I’m pleased with the results . It is a perfect size for one person. Only downside — the water levels in the pot are hard to read. I’m sure I’ll get much use out of it ( and I even bought another one to give my son!)

This little gem is the easiest, safest, most wonderful way to make rice and other goodies. It makes the perfect amount of rice for 2 - 3 servings and the rice comes out cooked to perfection every time. I plan to branch out and make other items beside rice with my rice cooker ASAP!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made purple rice in my cooker. The only problem is I didn't think about purple steam coming out and coloring everything around the rice cooker. LOL Lesson learned. The rice was nicely cooked and it was so easy to use. I look forward to using it for more culinary delights.

I’ve been wanting a rice cooker for quite a while. I had one in the past, but it was one of the really big ones and with just me and my husband. I don’t need that much rice. By chance I found this little rice cooker it makes the perfect amount of rice and the rice is awesome. it’s easy to use it’s easy to clean and it’s very easy to store.

I am in love with this mini rice cooker!!I just recently used it to keep my dipping chocolate warm while making truffles and it was great!!I do wish that Dash offered extra pots... Dash, PLEASE let me know that you offer replacement pots for this product!
