I love the variety of foods I can prepare. I looked through the recipe book, and there was even polenta. I haven't had the appliances to made decent polenta for so long that I finally gave up. I'm really looking forward to preparing it in this cooker. Also, I love the color (aqua).

I tried cooking a half cup of rice the first time. I followed the makers directions using the included measuring cup and adding water to half fill line in the pot. It boiled over, it took over 30 minutes before it shut off, the rice came out sticky and there was a layer of crunchy rice at the bottom. My second try worked much better. I followed the directions on the rice package. No boil over, it turned off at 22 minutes, the rice had a good texture but there was still a thin layer of dried out rice in the bottom of the pot.

Perfect portions, cooks perfectly! The recipes included in the manual are superb, I never would have thought I could make banana bread, polenta, and of all things a Dutch baby in my Dash Mini Rice Cooker! I am trying the Thai coconut rice next. Thank you Dash

I recently bought the mini rice cooker and made some pasta with olive oil mayo and hummus and pieces of hot dog for dinner. It worked so well and cooked my pasta to perfection! Would definitely recommend anyone get this for themselves plus the color is so cute!

The single reason I didn’t give 5 stars is due to the slightly long cooking process that wasn’t indicated in manual. Rice took around 20-25 mins to cook. Other than that the set up and clean up process was easy, rice was cooked perfectly and didn’t stick to the bottom.

I love the size and while recuperating from surgery my daughter has one so I know how well it works. I told my daughter that was easy to use. My birthday was this weekend and it came in the mail. It's just big enough for a 2 person mealTakes the stove top rice when sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't getting some cooked over or just under made. Would definitely say it is worth it.

I got it today and used it for the first time tonight. How did I live this long without a rice cooker? Well, most of them are huge. It's just two of us, so a big rice cooker wouldn't work. I love my other Dash products, so I thought I'd try it. I love how easy it is. No stirring, no pot watching, and no worries when it's done because it stays warm. This mini is the perfect size. I made a 1/2 recipe, and it was enough for 2 stir fries. Next time, I'll make a full recipe and have some left for fried rice. I've just upped my game! And it's RED! Love it!!!I also make chicken and rice occasionally as a treat for our puppers. They'll be surprised too.

Love it! This is actually the 2nd one I bought. The first was for my kid to take to college, and we liked it so much I decided I needed one, too. I never had a problem cooking rice on the stove, but this is just so much nicer. Especially now that I'm cooking for one less (since the kid went to college)!

I love this cooker, I've used it for several years now but I'm really distressed sbout the rice! I know you say not to use a regular measuring cup, but I've lost the rice measure that came with it and I can't seem to find any information on your site as to equivalencies. I'd eventually be interested in buying a replacement measure. and will be able to as soon as my disability case is resolved, but since I purchased this I have had two total hip replacements and become unable to work and consequently am very poor right now and need to postpone that purchase until that is no longer the case. Does anyone know how much that measure held, so that until I can buy it I will at least be able to approximate?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing smells of burnt chemicals and plastic when cooking. It gave me a terrible headache and Dash charges for returns. Please be wise and purchase a non-Dash rice cooker. It's not worth your money being taken away.
