After comparison shopping for a bed for a bad back, we found a suggestion for this brand. We ordered a 13" king and decided to get these for the kids. This is an 8" queen for our son. Much better value for a bad back than the major manufacturers with the high ticket price! Only drawback, the mattress needs to air out for a few days before use, as the mattress has a distinct smell. But once it is aired out, you would never know.

You first read all the directions FIRST and then go back to beginning to put together -easy peasy!

Not protected of stains although I put a mattress cover on top. Not practical for young kids.
