The thickness changes by about 2 inches at about the halfway point from the feet to head section.

I got this mattress. Box was damaged and mattress was in bad shape. Looks like used one. It has not expanded well and is all uneven. Packaging was not looking much professional. Mattress compression was looking bad and not rolled professionally. I have attached picture which explains everything. I don't know wether to trust this brand anymore. I have asked for return immediately.

We are in our 50's with neck & back problems, and both of us felt like we were lying on a cloud in heaven! This is the best and one mattress you would have to buy and under 300.00! If you are looking for a Mattress...STOP...it's right here...buy this one it's AMAZING!!! I would NEVER buy anything else 5 stars doesn't give a high enough rating they deserve a whole lot more stars********************************** Night therapy foam memory is the way to go. No odor and it didn't take 3 days to inflate either.

The twin came in a box that had the rolled mattress inside, in a sleeping bag type of packaging. It was compressed, which made it so easy to handle. When I cut off the plastic covering, it expanded to a wonderfully comfortable bed. I have it on a daybed, and it is as comfortable as my Tempurpedic. The price cannot be beat. Directions are included to tell you exactly how to carefully unwrap it. Very simple and quick. I am so happy with this purchase and would buy others if I needed them for my other bedrooms!

The mattress arrived in a timely manner. However it never filled out after removing all packaging materials the center of the mattress never inflated fully and was crimped even after a full week of being opened.

Its a good sleeper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son (110 lbs) has been using this mattress for almost 3 weeks now. There is zero dipping or denting. My husband and I were so impressed with the firmness of the twin size mattress my son has been using that we purchased a king size for ourselves. We had just bought a standard mattress less than a year ago and with a few weeks we noticed dipping that did not bounce back. It amazes me that a memory foam mattress fared better than that. Our entire family is beyond pleased with the quality of Zinus memory foam mattresses.

I was a bit concerned. After 24 hrs, the mattress hadn't decompressed much. I thought it may have been due to extended shipping time caused by the recent snow and ice.After 48 hrs, one half of the mattress was almost fully decompressed, but the other end wasn't. I started looking for return policy and came across some info that helped. I thought the mattress couldn't have any weight on it until fully decompressed. After reading that steeping, steeping, or rolling around on the mattress helped, I tried that with some success. After 72 hrs, still had a ways to go in some parts of the mattress. I put it on the bed and began sleeping on it. It has completely decompressed and is very comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Zinus Spa sensation Green Tea 8 inch twin mattress is great for my child's bed. I always love how these types of mattresses come boxed. The box was not super heavy and not too difficult for a small adult to carry. There is a satisfying aspect of breaking the vacuum seal and seeing the mattress take its shape. The instructions said it needed up to 72 hours to completely decompress. I did a little more than 48. It fit very well on my son's twin size bed. He is not a big kid so this mattress should last him a long time. The mattress has a weight limit of 250 pounds so this works great for a kid's bed. I laid on it for a while and found it super comfortable. I appreciated the fact that it was cool and did not seem to overheat. I felt well supported but the bed was still very soft and comfortable. My son said that he has been sleeping well on it and has not had any issues. I will probably be getting more of these for my other kids. The one thing I am not sure of is if these would work well on a top bunk. You may need a 6 inch mattress instead. Overall, I am very happy with this Zinus mattress and will be a repeat customer.
