We bought this steam cleaner to offer our guests of 2 Motels the "Best of the WEST": a sanitized cabin, safe, efficient, 10% green and - Covid compliant. We already had a commercial one and were looking for a handy-one which will actually heat up quickly and will not hinder our staff for skipping this step. It takes regular water, and it is actually easy to refill. We love it, our staff loves it, and our guests are super impressed with staying true to our values: green, professional, and ahead of the curve......we already introduced 3 other business partners to this "yellow submarine".

I have the model SC 2500 C that I brought from Brazil over 5 years ago. The differences are the accessories and the water conditioning cartridge, that protects the boiler and are great improvements the Karcher steam cleaner. Nothing, I mean absolutely nothing in this world leaves my terrible laminate floors looking immaculate (and my floors are a PAIN to clean). My windows and mirrors, kitchen, barbecue grill, grout! Omg, the grouts.... they are so dreadful, but with the karcher steam cleaner they come out clean so fast and easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was so scared to try to use this because it looked so intense I swallowed my fear and assembled it with my husband and to say we are never going to use a mop is an understatement! My husband and I are in love! We used it clean the bathroom and the kitchen then just for fun we jokingly went after a stain on my carpet that has survived 3 carpet cleanings and a professional style cleaner. It was grease from my husbands job that’s when we noticed that this was life changing!

I have used a canister steam cleaner for years, so I knew what to expect. Comparable units produce lots of hot, disinfecting steam that do a great job cleaning. So I will address the Karcher's pros and cons. The description never does say how hot the steam is. Measuring with an instant-read thermometer, the steam never registered over 175 degrees, and it jumped between that and 135. 140 is required to kill germs. The cord is too short. The plug does not have a groove to attach it to the cord. Tool storage is OK. The water tank is SMALL . It requires frequent filling. I have to keep a pitcher nearby and watch the refill alert. This is the biggest drawback. It's nice that i don't have to shut it off to refill, but it's annoying that it steams for less than 10 minutes. I refilled it at least 4 times just to clean the shower. It is small and maneuverable. The attachments are adequate and attach easily. The handle has to be squeezed continuously to produce steam. I don't mind this, but might be a problem if your grip is not good. I think it's better than having to flip a switch or push a button to turn off steam. Probably safer, too. Makes quick work of soap scum. I didn't have any mold to test it on. It has two steam levels.

I like that I don’t have to use harmful chemicals to clean with this .My floors looked and felt very clean afterwards. I am glad I got it and will be using it often.

I have had mine for about 3-4 weeks now. One of the best items I have bought. The biggest thing I can say is READ EVERY SINGLE PAGE OF THE MANUAL! THIS IS IMPORTANT, otherwise you will be back here leaving bad reviews because you were too lazy to read directions. This item can easily be mis-used, I know I would have used it wrong for sure if I didn’t read entire manual and would have had the water hardness set incorrect since we have soft water. So far I have used it on: -greasy car parts -glass cooktop -jerseys that have had stains for 6 years -carhartt items like bibs & coats -other clothing items -cleaning random things like white fridge handles and other kitchen items And a bunch of other stuff...... Must read instructions tho. If you can’t do that, don’t buy it. Odds are I will make a YouTube video showing tricks and techniques.

I bought this machine hoping it would make sanitizing easier and has it ever delivered! I have been very happy at the level of cleaning. It’s amazing. The machine is easy to use making cleaning a much easier job. This was definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Hands down the best way to clean your floor after sweeping. How I ever lived without this? Before my floor would never stay clean, I have had this for 1 week & by choice have used it 3 times. I love the result. I may buy their vacuum to use instead of sweeping. I have cleaned my whole bathroom with the accessories. Love it !

I got really sick of scrubbing tile grout with AJAX and a brush on my knees. A lot of effort for making very little progress. And then I tried this little baby, the SC3 and wow! The machine is well built, easy to use and work fantastic. I started cleaning all kinds of things with this. My BBQ, the stains around my stainless steel gas stove top burners I have *NEVER* been able to remove. This thing is awesome. But now, I gotta wonder how good is the slightly larger model over on the commercial side?!?!?! Highly recommended!

It is possible that I am being unrealistic, but this little (I mean little) yellow plastic steam cleaner looks as the cleaner is going to break into pieces at any time. The steam isn't hot enough. Basically, it is hot water.
