The Beautyrest Black is the best mattress I have ever owned. It is firm enough to give good support and soft enough to not hurt the pressure points.

Best Mattress Ever

So far we're really loving this mattress. We also purchased an adjustable frame making it easy to have more options for comfort.

Like sleeping on a cloud

I am not pleased with this mattress. We originally ordered the firm which had no give at all very different from the showroom model , we found it to be very uncomfortable. After 6 weeks we switched it out for the medium. Still there was no contouring support to the back - giving me pain which I did not have with my old mattress. After several weeks of waking each morning with tension we ordered a 3" memory foam topper. This solved the morning back stiffness. I am disappointed in Beautyrest Black mattress. For the high price point I expected much better.

Does not contour resulting in back tension

I am enjoying an excellent night’s sleep on this beautiful mattress.  My previous mattress was a hybrid Beautyrest and after 10 years (had a 25 year warranty) it failed and was bulging on the side. Beautyrest warranty department was EXCELLENT to work with and gave me full credit for the old mattress toward the new one. Start to finish, I had a comfortable new bed within 3 weeks!
