There must be some magic sprinkled on it because I have slept through the night since day 1. My sleep is usually interrupted for one reason or another but with this mattress I am so comfortable I sleep better. My body feels cuddled and secure. Once you've experienced this quality you'll never turn back.

When I was given the Stearns & Foster Studio Medium Pillowtop Queen Mattress for free, in exchange for my honest review, I was pleased to do so. The mattress was firm but not so much that I couldn't feel the softness of the tufts. I must say I slept very well the first night and noticed a difference in my sleep immediately. I like how thick the mattress is and it works well with the current queen boxspring I already owned. My only complaint is how deep the tufts are in the top of the mattress. I can feel them in certain areas on my body more than others when I lay on the mattress. Overall, I would recommend this product to others and am over-the-top pleased with the mattress.

I was not able to test this mattress so I relied on the manufacturer rating to make my purchase decision. So, on a scale of 1 to 10 (with a 10 being the most firm), this mattress was rated (by the manufacturer) at a medium comfort level between 4 and 5; however, it feels more like a very firm 8 or 9. Unfortunately, I don't think this unexpected extra firmness will work well for a side sleeper like myself. My advice would be to make sure you can test this mattress yourself and do not rely on the manufacturer's rating to make your purchase decision. My only hope is that, ove time, it will soften enough so I will be able to "comfortably" sleep on my side.

We did not have a clue how bad our old mattress & box spring was for our health! My husband, with sleep apnea, is finally getting good solid nights' of rest. I also am feeling much more rested. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate to get a Stearns & Foster Studio Medium Tight Top - Queen size as a sample to replace a nondescript mattress of over 15 years. Having never owned a medium tight mattress before, I did some research about it, and apparently medium is preferred for side sleepers as it provides more support to the spine. My partner is a side sleeper and he likes this mattress just fine. I am someone who prefers everything rock hard, like I should just be sleeping on a rice mat or slat of wood, which probably supports my back-sleeping position. This one is soft to the touch and your body sinks right in. But the quality is there. The stitching on the top is there. It looks like a fine, expensive mattress and I suspect this one will hold up as long as the last one did. We got it right before the seasons turned and it was also good at keeping us cool when temperatures were hot at night. And there's no fiberglass!
