We have had our fridge for 2 years and are very happy with it. A couple of small issues. The craft ice maker is very slow to get started. It took several days to finally start making ice and has occasionally stopped working. But it has re-started when the reset button is pressed. The ice maker in the door can sometimes freeze ice in a mass that will not drop down into the dispenser. But by opening the door latch and pushing the blockage down, it will work properly. Also, the fridge has to be perfectly level or the door latches do not close properly. Leveling the machine is not easy, but solves the problem. The light that comes on when you knock on the door is cool but, we hardly ever use it because you can't really see the majority of things inside. Also, be advised that the width of the fridge is listed at 36 inches. But, if you slide it all the way into a 36 inch opening it will not open because the doors protrude further than 36 inches from the fridge. We had to make the opening in our kitchen larger to accommodate this.

We have our most used items in this section and now realize how little we actually need to open the main doors. A real savings on energy. We use the top drawer as a freezer and as such very seldom get into the bottom freezer. This is great for me as I have some back issues and almost never have to bend over any more. Another time saver is the measured water dispenser. I just put whatever in there press whatever button and go about my business. I don't have to stand there pushing a bottom. Having the ice maker in the door frees up so much space in the fridge itself. Bottom line I would buy it again.

I received this 2 1/2 weeks ago. The only drawback I feel this refrigerator has is that the freezer door and bottom freezer draw are connected and come out together. It cannot fully extend on its own. If you have something wide to put in, you will not be able too. Everything else is perfect.

We purchased this refrigerator in July and whilst most of the features work well, the ice maker is causing an error code, which the LG techs say it's due to frost. There is not a drop of frost anywhere in the freezer of ice cube tray. They advise to empty the freezer and refrigerator for 24 hours to let it defrost and then turn it back on to reset it. We have completed those instructions, however the error code continues to reappear.

The refrigerator has been designed efficiently to make daily usage easy convenient. Insta door or preview door is awesome to just open the door rack and interact with frequently used items like milk, juice and creamer. The two drawers for the freezer are quite deep and provide ample space for frozen food items and ice creams. The two vegetable drawers doors open to consolidated shelves from left to right providing enormous space to keep practically anything.

We’ve had our fridge for about a three weeks now. This is hands down the best fridge we’ve owned. The craft ice is a bonus. We love the options this fridge offers: Use middle drawer as a freezer if you wish, turn off craft ice and use as extra space if needed. We like the insta view door. We put items in there we use most to avoid opening main door and losing the cold air. Checks off all our needs!!!! Wish we could have bought same the bigger version, but wouldn’t fit through our door! We are super happy with purchase. Looks great too!

Not only are we delighted with the space, but this fridge has everything. It’s easier to keep organized, the convertible draw is the best and we are obsessed with the craft ice!

We had purchased LG appliances in the past and were very happy with the ThinQ WiFi connected smart home options. I like to use my phone to get notifications from the refrigerator. We thought the craft ice was gimicky, but it is just wonderful. Great for drinks as expected, but fits perfectly for the kids' water bottles. Space is well organized for small and large items. No issues with the freezer or fridge space.
