[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the (1) relative proportion of available space used for the quick access compartment and (2) the versatility provided by the middle compartment. I am accessing the quick access compartment much more than I anticipated. I expect that this will help keep my consumption of electric power down. This compartment is roomy and allows me to store a good deal of frequently used items for quick retrieval. I really like the idea that I can use the middle compartment to expand either the freezer or refrigerator compartments by electronic push buttons. Great job providing smart alternatives for the use of the appliance.

Had this fridge for a month now and so far I love it! Counter depth is smaller inside, so if it’s just 2-3 people using it’s just fine. Be aware that tall bottles of anything don’t fit upright. We’re just going to start buying shorter things (ketchup, salad dressing, etc.). Be patient with the craft ice! It will stock up. It took about a week for freezer to get to the right temperature to start making the ice, and it is very clear when putting the spheres in a drink! We don’t use craft ice everyday, so after a month there is quite a stockpile! And, both ice makers are pretty quiet.

It’s quiet, we really enjoy the craft ice maker and the peek through glass. I used the middle drawer to dry age ribeyes for 18 days and they were excellent! All in all great purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my LG refrigerator in September as part of a bundle. I love the drawer freezer, which has plenty of room, and the refrigerator door which adds extra space. The door in the door is my favorite part though!!

Fits perfectly and give us a lot more room in our small kitchen. The regular ice maker works great and the craft ice is nice to have. The space in the see-through door is a big plus because we can store soda and other drinks in the door and not open the entire fridge to get a drink.

Our kitchen is a bit old, and our counters aren't as deep as they may make them these days, so I really had to work hard to find a refrigerator that fit in our opening. Does the craft ice (near-spheres) last longer? Yes (plus it's fun). Do we use the "open the outside " door on the right; every day. This is a NICE refrigerator. I take it that it's a bit shallow inside because it is only a 23 cu ft. refrigerator, which is what we needed. I have no real "complaints", but if you put something very flat on top of the middle drawer, it may slide off into the are behind the drawer (small arms and wooden yardsticks are very handy in this case). The only other thing is that I wish we could adjust is the closing speed of the left door; it can build up some momentum and slam shut if you just take your hand off of it. These are minor things for us; the daily things all work great and it's nice looking. I've recently purchased a dishwasher (our old one broke) and stove (well, it was still working but as old as the hills) in the same series.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG unit is worth every penny...the design is clean and modern, and the stainless does not show fingerprints like our old one. The double-tap door view is a great idea, and the quick access for frequently used items saves cooling costs. The water access dispenser is smart, and convenient. As for the storage room, it has more than enough for your groceries or special/oversized dishes. Finally, it is so quiet, no rattling or humming, you'll never know it's there.

I can easily access the things I use the most in the door in door without opening the whole refrigerator! I use the middle drawer for meats and cheeses, also accessed a lot! The ice options are nice too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We kept getting a white powder on the tray under the ice dispenser on the refrigerator door. Found that it was calcium carbonate due to "hard" water coming into the house. Best corrective action is to remove and thoroughly clean the ice bin on a regular basis, or install a reverse osmosis "whole house" water purification system.
