I NEVER write reviews but felt compelled to in this case! I've been to the doctor numerous times in the last 2 years for neck and back pain and taken way more prescribed anti inflammatory pills than I should at 41 years old! I didn't have a clue that my old bed was crippling me until we went on vacation and I slept in a different bed! Long story short-We INVESTED in this bed and I immediately noticed a difference after the first night. I woke up with zero pain and felt more well rested than I've seriously felt in 20 years. Not gonna lie...Dropping that kind of cash on a bed seemed kind of crazy at first and I had a little bit of buyers remorse AT FIRST!!! Knowing what I know now that was just silly!! I honestly don't think I knew what a great nights sleep actually was before! Take that money you were gonna spend on that fancy vehicle accessory or whatever else you don't really need and GET THIS BED INSTEAD!!!! SO WORTH IT!!!!

I toss and turn a lot on this mattress and if I sleep over 6 hours, I wake up with pain in my middle to lower back. I am 6'2" and weight between 195-200-ish. I have been to both my family practitioner and a chiropractor to confirm that I do not have any back issues, injuries or circumstances that would cause me back pain. I travel for work and will sleep on a hotel mattress at least a couple times a month and usually sleep like a baby with out tossing and turning and with out back pain. My wife also did not like her bed and ask that I put her Next Alexander Hybrid back on her side. I will probably go with a Sealy Posturepedic . I bought them for my 11 and 16 year old and they love them.

The reason we went with a Tempur Pedic is the success we've had with our other mattress. We absolutely love this mattress! We bought our first Tempur Pedic 20 yrs ago. It served us very well! We decided to get a King and wanted to stay with a TP. My wife river dances in her sleep (restless leg) which is why we bought one years ago. We both sleep very well on this! It supports but is really comfortable, I don't feel like I sink into the mattress, & I don't feel my wife toss about. I sleep deep and hard on this mattress. There is an accusation that I have slept so deep, there was some deep rhythmic breathing occurring (snoring in laymen's terms! LOL). When it was unboxed and set up, we knew it would be hard as a brick...so don't just jump onto it! We put several blankets on it to get it to soften up a bit. The first night it was pretty hard - which we expected and were told it would be. That was the worst of it. We've had it a month now and although a firm mattress, it is softening and very comfortable. We like this better than the breeze which we slept on somewhere. I didn't feel the support of the breeze like I do with this one or our very first TP. Bottom line -- I sleep like a brick, I don't feel my wife move around, & our 75lb Golden Retriever sleeps well on it too! Remember it will take a couple of days for it to soften when first unpacked (it was VERY cold and in a warehouse when delivered)...we are sold on this mattress!

When we first received the product, the bed was a little hard for our tastes but after a couple of weeks it was amazing. We let it air out for a couple of days before sleeping on is and even though they say you don't have to do that, I am glad we did. I have a sensitive nose and was able to smell the mattress when it was first unpackaged but my Wife could not.

I absolutely love my tempurpedic mattress. I have a rotator cuff and hip injury that always woke me up due to soreness. With this mattress, I sleep all night, wake up more rested, and my hip & shoulder are less irritated. I was very skeptical of all these reviews, and now I'm leaving one of my own! This mattress is a good investment for your health, so I highly recommend it if you have old injuries and pain that keep you up at night.

I'm 57 years old and for 25 years I woke up with lower back pain, literately had to grab my knee to get out of bed every single morning. I accepted that it was just going to be that way the rest of my life. My wife talked me into this mattress and i hesitantly went for it. In retrospect, the best move I ever made. Back pain completely gone the first night. It is amazing to wake up and not be in pain. Worth every penny!!

This is our first experience with pro adapt firm which we liked immediately when we we went to store to try it out. We previously had a tempur pedic for 10 years. We have only had our pro adapt for a couple weeks and I am concerned that the firmness isn't as good as when we first purchased it. I plan to contact tempura pedic to see what they think may be the issue. We also purchased the adjustable foundation. We love tempura pedic due to injuries to my husband which helps him sleep better. We have recommended these mistresses to all our friends.

I have degenerative disk disease in my entire spine and deal with constant pain. Back spasms are also an ongoing challenge I deal with. Before purchasing this mattress, I ended up having to sleep on our couch for two months. Now I am able to have quality sleep for the entire night. My back pain has gone from level 8 to level 3-4. It has given me much quality of life improvement.

This is my second Tempur-Pedic. The mattress delivered is completely unlike the version I tested in a Tempur-Pedic showroom. It is as hard as a rock. My backache this morning is painful. My online sales receipt says "ProAdapt" but does not specify ProAdapt or ProAdapt 1.0 or Pro Adapt 2.0. Yes, I was confused when the warranty drop down gave those 3 choices. The tag on my mattress says 2.0. How was I to know there is more than one version? I am told by customer service I probably tried an older version. 2.0 is currently being shipped. Nothing can be done until the 30 night trial is over. So, I am supposed to be sleep deprived for 30 nights, on this brick that was delivered to my house? I am not interested in letting the mattress confirm to my body or breaking it in. Thank you, Tempur-Pedic for the worst night's' I can remember. Fortunately, I kept my old mattress to give to a women's shelter. Unfortunately, they will not be getting it because the old mattress from 2006 is by far better than this misrepresentation.
