We had a 20 year old Tempurpedic mattress that we thought was fine. As a breast cancer survivor, I take medication that causes mild aches and pains and stiffness (a very small price to pay for continued good health!). For years, I have gotten out of bed and walked across the bedroom like a 100 year old person. The very first morning with this new one, I was completely not stiff, not sore, and immediately moved comfortably. Who knew that my issues were related to the mattress? This one is marvelous.

We owned an original Tempurpedic mattress for 19 years. When we went to replace it, we made the mistake of listening to the Levin salesman who talked us into a less expensive mattress. Two mattresses later, we returned to Tempurpedic and are again enjoying great sleep. On the negative side, we tried to order our Tempurpedic online and had a terrible experience with delivery. We had to cancel the online order and go to our local Tempurpedic dealer.

My wife and I recently received the Tempur-Pedic Luxe-Adapt and from the moment the bed arrived - our lives have changed for the better!! The white glove delivery was top notch! They were incredibly careful and helpful with bringing in our new bed.. and from the moment we laid down on it to 'try it out' we realized how incredible this mattress is! I've suffered from some lower back pain over the last few years - and within the first week of sleeping on our mattress - I'm bounding out of bed in the morning feeling so well rested, and without any back pain! It's UNREAL!! We both couldn't be happier and will happily recommend this bed to ANY one considering it! Trust me. It's worth it's weight in gold!! We love our Tempur-Pedic. 5 stars from us!!

I have fibromyalgia and chronic pain all over my body. I haven't been able to sit up straight like a normal human being in over 2 years. It hurts to lay, turn or slightly move in bed. I just bought the tempur luxe adapt soft mattress. It is wonderful. It relieves the pain on all my pressure points. I mean there's not much doctors can do for me anymore. And the mattress does help the best it can for all the pain I'm in. So for me it's the best thing I've had in 3 years to help relieve pressure while I lay and sleep. Thank you tempurpedic.

Best mattress I've ever owned period. Had another Temper-pedicure that lasted me 15 years and I never thought it would get better than that. Then comes along the Luxeadapt and I was wrong. My only minor gripe would be that it gets VERY hot. Small price to pay for sleeping on a cloud.

Not one to write reviews but read several during my research of this mattresses and took them with a grain of salt. We have owned the original Tempur Pedic mattress (the one that came without different softness levels. You just ordered it by which size you wanted and I guess they just cut a slab of material). We had that mattress for years and after breaking it in from its rock hard state it became quite comfortable. As the years pasted (at least 15) I began to have problems with my shoulders as I sleep on my side. Finally decided to purchase a new mattress. My wife did not want to replace the one we had even though it was long over due as she said it was fine for her. We both had concerns that we may end up with an expensive mattress that was uncomfortable but my lack of sleep pushed me forward. I was about to purchase one of the existing Tempur mattress when a friend of mine told me wait a few weeks as they were releasing a new line. The Tempur Lux-Adapt. He said "Its a whole new animal". Taking his word i waited the 3-4 more weeks (guessed he should know as he was a manager at one of the local mattress stores) and said he tried them out at some show. When the beds arrived at our local furniture (didnt purchase the bed from my friend, sorry buddy) store they had the Lux-Adapt in firm and medium. Since our old Tempur mattress was firm and that was also what the Mrs liked I purchased that in a king size along with the Ergo-Extend base. Let me tell you the reviews were right. This mattress is prefect. I'll repeat what I read in other reviews that we really cant wait to get into bed. Its that comfortable. The Lux-Adapt in firm has just the right amout of compression. You conform to about 3-4 inches is my best guess and then you dont continue to sink further. I am six feet tall and weigh 175 pounds and my wife is small and weighs about 100-105 pounds. The bed is comfortable for both of us. she loves it and I constantly remind her that it was my idea! I am getting great REM sleep again after years of tossing and turning due to shoulder discomfort. Fantastic! The only down side some may find is that it sleeps a little warmer that our original tempur pedic. Probably due to the fact that it comforms better. The only other complaint I have is that I bought a second remote for the Ergo-Extend base only to find out you can only use one programmed remote at a time. This is something that needs to be resolved. A bed at this price point and size you should not have to be crawling to the other side to get the remote out from the bedside caddy. We have two TV remotes on each side of the bed just for this reason. Guess its some liability issue the attorneys told them about. Dont want the Mrs to ask you to get something from under the bed that she dropped only to have her lower it down on you! LOL. Seriously this is a software issue and can surely be fixed. Doing so will make the base more easily usable. Not everyone gets in bed at the same time and dont want to have to hunt for remotes. All and all only minor complaints. Literally loving the bed and the great comfortable sleep we're getting. So glad we made the change and glad I took my friends advice and waited for these new mattresses to arrive. If you are considering a memory foam mattress you have to try out a Tempur Pedic, yes they are costly but they last. Considering how much good night's sleep worth and the length of time we spend in bed annually it can be money well spent.

Received a king size luxeAdapt for my master bedroom after owning an older tempurpedic model for the last 10 years. We've always loved our old mattress, but were itching to find out how much the technology has improved. The LuxeAdapt is miles beyond what we expected. Firm, without feeling like I'm sleeping on a slab, soft enough to hold our natrual curves but not so soft that you feel like you can't get out of bed without six-pack abs. We've now had it for a couple of months and I have to peel myself out of bed every morning. Conversely, if I'm feeling well-rested, I have the energy to spring right out without having to tenderly stretch out all my body parts and pray something didn't get strained in the middle of the night. Low maintenance, high comfort, and near instant sleep once my head hits the pillow. Couldn't be happier.

I have 4 herniated discs in my lower back which cause extreme discomfort and pain, this mattress is the best sleep I've had. My husband tosses and turns non stop and wakes me up, but with this mattress I don't feel him at all and it's helped him not toss and turn as much too. We both love it and will always have one from this point forward.

invested in the TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt mattress, and my feelings have been a rollercoaster ending up giving up the mattress for free as the mattress was so uncomfortable. No buyers were willing to buy it for a fraction of the cost. 5K down the drain. When I first unboxed the LuxeAdapt, I was impressed by its luxurious feel. The memory foam seemed promising, and I eagerly anticipated nights of blissful sleep. Unfortunately, after a few weeks of use, things took a turn. The mattress isn't evenly firm. Some areas feel like sinking into a marshmallow, while others are oddly firm. It's like Goldilocks' nightmare-neither too soft nor too firm, but just... inconsistent. As for comfort, well, let's just say it's not the cloud-like experience I envisioned. My back occasionally protests, and I find myself tossing and turning more than I'd like. Here's where it gets frustrating. I reached out to my local dealer for assistance, and it felt like shouting into the void. Their support might as well be a mythical creature-I've yet to encounter it. If you're considering this mattress, don't rely on local dealer support. It's like expecting a unicorn to deliver your warranty paperwork. I end up buying a much cheaper mattress from other manufacturer and finally I am able to sleep again
