You know when you hear about a product so many times and you think it can't possibly live up to the expectations and hype? This is how I felt about Tempur-pedic. I was hesitant but I knew it was known for being the best on the market and my husband and I were desperate to find a mattress that would help his back problems and give us better sleep. We chose the Luxe Adapt (firm) and when I say we have had the best sleep we've ever had, I am not exaggerating one bit. We sleep through the night longer and find ourselves waking up feeling more well rested. At first, the firmness was hard to get used to but it only took about 4-5 days for us to get used to it and truly appreciate it. I don't normally write reviews but it's the best mattress we've ever owned so I had to come on here and write one! Thank you Tempur-pedic for living up to the hype!

I was gifted the mattress, but my review is my own. I've been using this mattress for over a month and it is so comfortable. My lower back pain is gone and I sleep more soundly and get a good restful sleep each night. The mattress is great for side sleepers and forms perfectly to your body. I highly recommend this quality mattress.

I chose the firm and love it. The was initially worried that I should have got the soft but after a few nights I was sure I made the right choice. It definitely helped my back and neck pain. This mattress is not cheap but I'm happy with it and hope it lasts a long time!

I think because the mattress required breaking-in I didn't 'love it from the start'. It's now reasonably comfortable, but not anything I would rave about. I don't find it more comfortable than our previous mattress, which was a good quality pillow-top. We raved about the comfort of that bed, and finally replaced it after twenty years. We expected to improve on that with this mattress, but that is not the case.

We owned an original Tempurpedic mattress for 19 years. When we went to replace it, we made the mistake of listening to the Levin salesman who talked us into a less expensive mattress. Two mattresses later, we returned to Tempurpedic and are again enjoying great sleep. On the negative side, we tried to order our Tempurpedic online and had a terrible experience with delivery. We had to cancel the online order and go to our local Tempurpedic dealer.

We noticed the difference after the first night we slept on it. I now have more energy and I feel rested. I used to wake up with neck pain and pain on my left side. On previous mattresses I woke up exhausted most mornings because I tossed and turned trying to get comfortable, my husband was also very restless due to his own pain issues. We also purchased an adjustable base with underbed lighting. This has been a life saver as my husband often gets up in the middle of the night. I would say that investing in this bed was the best decision we've ever made. We were hesitant to purchase because of the cost, but now wish we had purchased the mattress years ago. If you are hesitating - please don't wait, you'll be so glad you bought one.

invested in the TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt mattress, and my feelings have been a rollercoaster ending up giving up the mattress for free as the mattress was so uncomfortable. No buyers were willing to buy it for a fraction of the cost. 5K down the drain. When I first unboxed the LuxeAdapt, I was impressed by its luxurious feel. The memory foam seemed promising, and I eagerly anticipated nights of blissful sleep. Unfortunately, after a few weeks of use, things took a turn. The mattress isn't evenly firm. Some areas feel like sinking into a marshmallow, while others are oddly firm. It's like Goldilocks' nightmare-neither too soft nor too firm, but just... inconsistent. As for comfort, well, let's just say it's not the cloud-like experience I envisioned. My back occasionally protests, and I find myself tossing and turning more than I'd like. Here's where it gets frustrating. I reached out to my local dealer for assistance, and it felt like shouting into the void. Their support might as well be a mythical creature-I've yet to encounter it. If you're considering this mattress, don't rely on local dealer support. It's like expecting a unicorn to deliver your warranty paperwork. I end up buying a much cheaper mattress from other manufacturer and finally I am able to sleep again

When our mattress first arrived, I was surprised at the lack of 'bounce' in the mattress. After just a few nights, however, I realized how wonderful it was for my husband and I. One of us could get in and out of bed or even toss and turn a bit without the other one waking up. We've been sleeping more soundly. The first night I got into bed, I sank down into the mattress and worried I'd be stiff when I woke up, but that is absolutely not the case. I haven't had any uncomfortability with the mattress. We absolutely love it!

This mattress was more comfortable within 6 months of purchase. Since that time, it has almost formed indentions and dips in all the wrong places. I regret buying this. I filed a warranty claim, but they declined it saying the mattress indentions do not measure 3/4 of an inch or greater. It's a HORRIBLE mattress and was so expensive. I wake up stiff in some parts of my body. I had a previous tempurpedic that I loved, this one pales in comparison. One side is significantly higher than the other. If you roll across the bed, you can hardly roll up from one side to the other - definitely like a drop off.

I love it, my husband is still getting used to it. He is a big guy, outweighs me by about 100 pounds. That means he sinks down low into the foam and it can be a bit of a struggle for him to turn over and get out of bed. I, on the other hand, love settling into a cozy little burrow. I have arthritis in my back and I no longer have any difficulty getting comfortable and staying comfortable all night. As to the smell that the sales person was obligated to warn us about, we barely noticed it and it wasn't at all unpleasant.
