We bought my son this ps5 and it’s perfect with him living far away from us, if he needs a new game we just login and purchase and he’s able to play. Way easier than going to the store. Haven’t had any problems with the game so far! He’s happy we’re happy :)

super fast delivery, plug and play. Remember to check the tv input you use for the PlayStation. We initially hooked the cable to the standard HDMI input, it would blackout during reset and we had to unplug the Sony TV. We had to hook it up to the 4K input and know it works great.

One of the controllers quit functioning a week or two after purchase. We couldn't file a claim to just get the controller fixed or replaced as it was a package deal, so the entire PlayStation needed to be returned too. Even through the warranty process. There was a lot of back and forth till we decided to purchase another controller. Outside of that, I cant complain. It gets the job done.

I love this ps5, I added the disc player to it because I had a bunch of ps4 games and movies so adding the disc player was very easy to do, cost 70 extra to add it. Only thing I would say is I would get more memory space since this only came with 800 something GB. But I can add more memory internally of needed but it will cost about 300 for 4 TB’s

I've been PS user since PS1 days in the 2000s, always have stuck to PS2, PS3, PS4 as well as Xbox 360 and made a switch to PC in 2020; then I've decided to go back to consoles for couch-riding and crossplay OFF purposes... while I did enjoy PS5, the servers went down for some time which took me back to 2011's outage and didn't like the idea of going through that again. Game Catalogs, Classic Catalogs all are pretty decent but I've bought Xbox Series X recently and I've found that I enjoy Xbox Series X much better in terms of Game Pass, UI, and controller design. Not everyone has a same preference so both consoles are as good as PC (except the fact that PC can go over 120 FPS in all games with the right specs and optimization). Speaking of optimization, XBX and PS5 has PC beaten in optimization because it's all the same hardware whereas you have to tweak here and there on PC. Overall, PS5 is a great console whether you're a single player or competitive gamer, just not my thing at the moment.

i mean, it's Playstation... of course, it's good. i was a smidgen disappointed that it's not the disc consol. but that's on me. i should have checked for that. i figured they were all the same type and all cane with the disc loader. oh well. other than my mistake, this consol is really nice. the graphics are great and such a smooth gameplay. im a big Cyberpunk 2077 fan, and the differwnc2 in gameplay and looks are phenomenal. What a huge difference. if you're swapping from the ps4, you're going to love it. i can't compare it to the XBox cause I dont own or play on one

My ps5 had scratches on the base of the system before I even opened the box. And taken it out to play. It also doesn’t hold a connect to my WiFi for whatever reason. But bc I have everything on it already I didn’t want to return it and redo everything
