Bought this mattress from Ashley furniture located in the Woodlands, Tx area. The mattress edge broke down within a few months. We turned the mattress and the other side edge support broke down with in a few months. This mattress is used by an elderly person who weighs about 130lbs so weight and size of the person is not in question. The results of this defective edge has caused her to constantly roll off the edge of the bed. We contacted Ashley Furniture for help, they sent a mattress warranty claim representative to check out the issue. He reported the findings to Stearns and Foster. Your company DENIED any help, leaving an elderly woman at risk of really being hurt each time the defect causes her to roll out of bed.

It is thick enough that all of the new sheets fit it too. I hadn't had this brand of mattress before this one and I wish I had tried it sooner. Other mattresses I had in the past were always too soft. This mattress being firm is going to help my back pain and I'm already sleeping better. About 9-12 months into sleeping on this mattress we noticed back pain from the sagging. We have tried rotating the mattress which helped the first time we did it but now that doesn't even help. It's been 18 months and we already need a new mattress but this one was so expensive we can't purchase another one for a while.

We owned an S&F king size luxury firm pillow top for 9 years and when my back and knees gave out recently, we decided to purchase the estate king size firm tight top mattress. After just 2 nights of comfortable, excellent support, we feel this is a reliable, well- built mattress and recommend it to anyone with arthritis and/or back problems due to advancing age.

My mattress was about 6 years old and I was waking up to hip and back pain every day, so I was in the market for a new mattress. This mattress is heavy, and the fabric is soft. At first I was concerned that it would be too firm, as it is much firmer than my old mattress. However, the firmness must be what I needed. This mattress is not too firm at all and provides really good support for my hips and back. I am finding that I am sleeping better, waking up less during the night in pain and waking up in the morning with almost no pain. I would definitely recommend this mattress to those looking for a firm and supportive option.

A vast improvement! I'm so glad that I went with a more expensive mattress. Very comfortable. I wake up feeling refreshed. I can't wait to get back in bed. Quality is outstanding.

Just took delivery of our new Estate Firm mattress and platform and we are looking forward to a good night's sleep. Purchased S & F based on firmness and what appeared to be a quality set. The sturdy outside edge was a big factor in our choice.

My wife and I have now been sleeping on our new Stearns and Foster Estate Collection mattress, firm but with a pillow top, for 4 weeks and we both find it very comfortable. Also, it does not make us hot like some of the memory foam mattresses.
