Personally just think is cool idea.

I've used it to serve dips and also hold charcuterie. It is oven and microwave safe, and can be put in the dishwasher. It's a great conversation piece for you next party.

This plate is the perfect way to subtly achieve that when entertaining. It is heavy and durable, but it is a bit shallow, so I would be mindful what I put inside.
