First time I bought these for a Christmas Eve party and the taste just wasn’t there. Great price but the hot chocolate bombs were a bomb.

Spent countless calls trying to cancel this order to be told “you have to wait till it ships” and “we’ve cancelled it” only to not have it cancelled and sometimes there was no time between “item shipped” to “item is out for delivery”.

They needed some hot cocoa powder filling. Just the chocolate melted into milk wasn’t enough flavor in my opinion. Now I understand why they were such a lower price, you get what you pay for.

Taste was VERY artificial. I did not enjoy it made it with my partner and threw them away after. They are very cute but the chocolate taste was just not great.

The only thing more I could ask of these is that the outside be dark chocolate (which I like better than milk chocolate), and I wish ideally that they could be in a sugar-free form, BUT I really can't complain, even though they're totally not on my diet. These taste delicious, even if you use water instead of milk, and are SO fun to make: pour the hot liquid over them, push them down into the mug with a spoon, start stirring and watch them crack open, with all the goodies inside just floating right out! When I saw this clearance price, I couldn't resist stocking up on something I've loved since my husband discovered them a couple of years ago and started getting me a box (at the normal price) for Christmas. Tips: be sure to keep stirring it after it breaks apart, or all those fudge bits will stick to the bottom/sides of the mug, and don't use too big a mug or the chocolate will come out too weak (just like when you add too much water to tea).

I was disappointed that these didn't have any hot chocolate powder inside like others that I have purchased elsewhere. The chocolate shell just isn't enough to flavor the milk and most of the chocolate was stuck to the bottom of the cup. I'm glad I sampled them before including in my Christmas goodie baskets. I will use the rest but add hot cocoa powder for taste.

I bought several of these last year - kept a few and gifted the rest (one to my doctor's office, which was perfect for their employee coffee station). Only 1 suggestion ==> pour only 1 to 1 & 1/4 c. hot water over them. Too much water makes the drink too watery and not sweet enough... best to use small coffee mugs (never Styrofoam!!).

They look beautiful and delicious. We will be trying them this weekend, so I really can’t let you know how they taste just yet but the appearance of them look great. That’s why I purchased them for my daughter, my daughter will have her friend over tonight for a sleepover they will try them this weekend.

Good taste and low calories hope it will come back soon
