I thought these would be good for potty training for so many reasons. The first was the Cars design. My son loves Lightning McQueen, so I thought telling him not to potty on Lightning would help with motivation. Nope. But that's not the fault of the product. Im just saying that technique doesn't always work. I also thought they would be closer to the cloth diapers he wore because they are supposed to let them feel when they are wet. There's no denying wetness in cloth. But these are closer to wearing a disposable diaper because I can hardly tell when they are wet. My son had better luck with the cloth diapers. We switched to cloth trainers and had much better luck. We do use these for overnight, though, as my boy stays pretty dry overnight.

We are in the beginning stages of potty training, so I appreciate that they are absorbent. They are easy for him to pull up and down and they do not easily tear by accident. I will definitely continue to buy.

They help teach your child how to pull their underwear down and up when they use the bathroom. The biggest benefit to using Pull-Ups, as opposed to going directly to underwear, is that they are absorbent. When kids are just starting their potty training journey, they are bound to have accidents and these cut down on the amount of laundry I'd otherwise have to do by containing the mess. My son loves the fun Mickey Mouse designs! We are working on recognizing when he has accidents, which Pull-Ups makes easier with the designs that fade away when wet. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my personal opinion, Huggies is definitely a brand I feel you can never go wrong with using, especially the Pull-Ups. The sizing is always true to the weight range listed, they have great absorbency with little-to-no leakage issues, and they seem to provide great comfortability to my kids. While the refastenable sides can be great, I have a love/hate relationship with them and almost prefer pull-ups without them more than I do with them. They are super convenient to have when changing a dirty pull-up or in emergency potty-training situations. However, I find them difficult to reattach as well as they were when the pull-up is new and being used for the first time and the durability of the refastenable sides decreases the more you do it. The only other thing, aside from the refastenable sides, preventing me from giving 5 starts is I don't feel the fade when wet graphic noticeably disappears enough with just a little urine. Seems to take a lot for it to be noticeable.

He just wanted to "get changed!" a lot more often. The diapers fit well and were easy to remove. But didn't make him want to be a 'big kid now' quite yet like I had hoped.
