Not happy

My 3-year old is potty-trained, but doesn't wake up yet at night when he needs to go, so he wears pull-ups at night. This brand leaks almost every time he wears them! I have switched to a cheaper store brand, and we don't have the problem anymore - they are very full in the morning, but they don't leak like the Huggies brand do!

A great help for potty training!

I really like these Pull-Ups! I didn't rate it 5 stars for 1 important reason. I feel the pull-apart sides are not reinforced strong enough. I often notice that they start to come undone when my son is just running around and playing and not from him pulling at them at all. Onto the positives! They are relatively inexpensive and from the most trusted brand of diapering products for me personally. They have cute designs and I love that they state on the Pull-Up which side goes in the back because it's honestly hard to tell otherwise. I think these are great for the beginning stages of potty training because they hold liquids and solids very well. I can tell that my son feels more apt to tell me he has a dirty Pull-Up versus when he has a regular diaper on he won't notify me at all. That shows me that he DOES feel like a "big boy" and has more confidence and as a mommy, that means a lot! I would really like to see more/new designs because my son really likes the characters on his diapers, Pull-Ups, clothes, etc. I think it would make him more excited about potty training. That is my only other suggestion. Otherwise, I think they are great and I recommend them to my fellow parents.

Pull-Ups

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son likes the design and didn't mind wearing the training pants. He did have a hard time getting them pulled down to potty without help from me. He seems to do better nude but since that can't happen all the time lol Pull-Ups Training Pants come in handy.

Not up to expectations

I thought these would be good for potty training for so many reasons. The first was the Cars design. My son loves Lightning McQueen, so I thought telling him not to potty on Lightning would help with motivation. Nope. But that's not the fault of the product. Im just saying that technique doesn't always work. I also thought they would be closer to the cloth diapers he wore because they are supposed to let them feel when they are wet. There's no denying wetness in cloth. But these are closer to wearing a disposable diaper because I can hardly tell when they are wet. My son had better luck with the cloth diapers. We switched to cloth trainers and had much better luck. We do use these for overnight, though, as my boy stays pretty dry overnight.

Not sure this is the way to go.....

These pull-ups are a great product, depending on your purpose. If you have a child who has occasional accidents at night, then by all means, use these (as I do with my twin daughters). However, if you are trying to train a child to use the potty, I find these don't work as well. They are just a different type of diaper, like the new pull on diapers. My son, who doesn't seem to be interested in potty training, even though he just turned 3, wears these like they are diapers. I put him on the potty, but he won't go there. He prefers to pp and poopoo in the pullups. Overall, I think that this product is confusing for kids who are taught not to go in their pants, but don't have any consequence to going in the pullup. (Meaning a mess on the floor instead of just being wet, like in a diaper.) If you don't want to deal with the messes on floor, than try pull-ups, but expect the process to take longer. If you want to train quickly and more efficiently, put regular pants on your child, deal with the mess for a few days, and be happy it will be cheaper, faster and less confusing.

my son loves his Mikey pull-ups

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 3 he often has little accidents during the day and at night (#1). These pull ups are perfect for little one because sometimes they forget to tell you they had an accident and with the little indicator you can tell right away. I love that the sides open and close so if I’m in a rush I don’t have to strip my baby to get this thing on. I was at Chucky cheese the other day and we had recently bought paper brand.. they do not have the little Velcro sides. So I literally had to take off my sons shoes then pants and find a clean place to set everything in a public restroom it was just crazy. If I would have had these that day or would have been nice. I’ll be buying these from now on until we need to get him big boy undies. Thanks influenster!!

Harsh on the Skin

My son kept getting unexplained rashes around the EDGES of the pull-ups. He kept telling us that the edges & seams hurt him. We switched to a different brand. The rashes & complaints from our son stopped. So, for OUR family, we won't be using Huggies brand pull-ups for our son again. Maybe we will give them another try when it's our daughter's turn.

Love how the design goes away when wet

I bought some size 2t-3t boys learning design pull-ups for my son. He loves the characters and how he can scan the pull-up to unlock games. The problem i had was that the size was wrong. it was too small and the sides ripped when trying to get them on. I also wish they were cheaper.

Cute design, good concept

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved these in a voxbox from influenster. While my son is potty trained he still wears protection at night. I found that the disappearing designw while cute serve little purpose for night training. Thanks to huggies and influenster for the opportunity to try these.
