This unit replaced an older generator and doubled the wattage. The Power Management features permit the monitoring of our entire 300 amp service vs. 16 dedicated circuits previously. It's quieter, has a smaller footprint and the wireless module keeps me and our servicing company in constant touch.

Works like advertised. I would recommend to anyone using LP gas that are not near a major road get a 1000 gallon tank. I purchased a 500 gal not realizing that they only fill to 80% or 400 gallons. I wish they had put a opening on the bottom of the housing to make run electric lines underground and up through the slab easy. It was hard to cut a whole through the base with a new whole saw.

Installed fairly easily, used an electrician to connect wiring. Ran well in test. Runs every 2 weeks in automatic mode. After reading past reviews, hope it holds up for a while. Came with 49 hours on the meter, now has 51 hours on meter. Guess we'll see.

Very pleased with purchase of generator. Between Generac's website and the local dealer, I was able to pick the right one for my home business needs. I will say that not all dealers are "created equal" so be sure to get several quotes for the job. I got quotes from three different local dealers. Though the quotes were within range of each other, the process helped me pick the most professional and customer-service dealer. And that made all of the difference for a perfect and timely installation. About two weeks ago, we had a power outage which lasted 6 hours. The generator automatically switched on when it was supposed to. And then when the power returned, I barely noticed the switchback. What a marvelous experience!

Only a couple months after installing the unit, a winter storm caused a 3 day power outage. Our house was the only one with power for the well pump, hot water and heat for the entire time. I purchased my Generac and the installer that represented Generac was wonderful explained everything and was done in a timely fashion. The Generator was up and running and with in a few days I lost electric for 12 hours and the generator kicked in and we where lite up like a Christmas tree at night when our neighbors where in the dark. ( felt bad) since then we have lost power two more times (this is so un usual for us) since then. I have been telling everyone that will listen to me they have to get one. Product is an insurance policy making sure you have power when a failure occurs. Installation prices are high and some installers want almost as much to install the unit as the unit cost. When power fails, the unit is automatic and restores whole house power.

Had the Generac 22KW air cooled generator installed in March after considerable market research. Picked Generac because it offered the largest, air-cooled wattage, automatic load shedding, and because of market share (over 70%), which guarantees repair parts and service availability in the future. To date, the generator has had no issues. Weekly automatic test runs have worked flawlessly. Only have experienced one short power outage since installation. The generator kicked on immediately and transferred the house load perfectly. Could not be happier right now.

This generator is the best investment we have ever made. It is quiet, it is cute, it gives you a peace of mind. It runs like a champ, does not even falter when A/C kicks on. You would think you still have power from the power company when it is on, only way you know it is on, if you go outside and hear it running.
