It seems like a good unit. But, not completely installed.

Good product

I bought this generator and installation was attempted by a Generac “Elite” dealer and installer. Now, 3 weeks later, and after multiple attempts by the installer, IT STILL DOES NOT WORK! There are battery charging error codes and fuel delivery error codes. If it comes on during the weekly self test it shuts off after 4 minutes, the warning light turns red and it sends a warning that it won’t restart in an emergency. Don’t waste your money buying a Generac 22KW whole house standby generator. Look at other brands that actually work .

Don’t Waste Your Money - Buy A Different Brand

On 1/02/2017 we lost electricity at 8:25 AM just as I began to work on an important project in my home office. In 7 seconds my General 22 kw generator turned on, restored power to all but a/c systems. After an additional 20 seconds the first a/c system came back and 15 seconds later the next one turned on. 

I was able to work for the 3 hours that it took for service to be restored. The generator is just outside my window and the sound is similar to a riding lawnmower at idle!
