The Generac was installed just yesterday and I was impressed by the 3-man team as they did a professional and quick installation. The unit looks great, is quiet enough to not intrude on neighbors or our household and initial tests indicate it will meed our total house needs. I'll review again in the event of a significant power outage which will give me a basis for comment on its performance.

From the beginning of the process to today’s delivery, everyone at Electrical System of Maine (ESM) in Auburn has been great to work with. A very professional but down to earth group of people. Having done my homework I’m sure I got the best deal with this company for such a high quality product! From Michelle in the office to the two guys who did a masterful job wiring my house for installation and the installation itself…a very big thank-you!! You all patiently answered any & all of my questions. And as a promise to them….I suggest that their boss/owner hook them up with home generators for them and their families (take care of the ones who take care of you/your business)!!

Overall I am please with the generator. Easy to install and looks and feels like a quality product. The WIFi is a big disappointment. I anticipated I would be able to remotely control the on/off functions which was a big thing for me. After it was professional installed, I came to discover the all important on/off anticipated function was not something this generator could do. The wifi functions do very little as far as I am concerned. I still recommend the generator but the all important wifi on/off function is absent. I would like to see Generic supply a module that has an on/off remote function. I would then give it five stars.

With the frequency of power outages that we experience, although short lived makes this a wonderful way to proceed "as if nothing had happened". We have Medical equipment that needs to be active 24/7 and this generator setup alleviates all of my anxiety. With the Propane Conversion Option, even in a catastrophe, where natural gas was cut off, we would continue to run without a worry. Thanks Generac!

Our 24KW Whole-Home generator was just installed, so the above itemized ratings are somewhat 'expectations'. Because our regional electric-power provider is planning to transition to a greater level of wind-turbine and solar E-power, while simultaneously encouraging customers to purchase all-electric vehicles (BEVs), and our home is 100% electric, including electric/hydronic heating - we felt very uncomfortable with the expectation of future brown-outs. Part of the checkout included a utility-power-loss simulation, and a progressive full-house-loading, The GENERAC system handled it well and the generator supported the whole-house-load at less than 70% generator load. The providing electrical contractor did an very efficient and professional job. We're now comfortable.

I live in the deep south, and hurricanes and floods occur often, so loss of power is a common occurrence for us. We had been wanting a whole house generator for a while. After Katrina, we were without power for 5 weeks. We suffered through using portable generators for the last few years, but with our advancing age, the hassle of using two or three small generators to keep our freezers, well pump, and lights running got to be a real hassle! So we finally invested in a Generac whole house generator. That is one of the better decisions of our lifetime! We researched and talked to other owners before buying, and decided that Generac brand was the best choice. We are confident that this purchase will give us many years of hassle free service. I am writing out of complete ignorance since we have not had the opportunity to use our generator yet. But the fact that we are both in our mid 80's, and out in the country, we thought it prudent to have this unit installed. I haven’t had to use it yet, but I am sure that when the power does go out, I will be set to go. The team was wonderful from the first contact on the phone to the installers. Everyone is knowledgeable and patient and very helpful. All of my questions were answered and any hesitation I had has disappeared. I had a couple of questions after installation and the woman on the phone answered them all. Adams electric in WI did the installation and gets 5 stars.

My 18kw whole house generator with transfer switch was installed by United Electric,Wisconsin Dells Wisconsin. The crew showed up on-time on June 26th as promised. They went right to work. They were completed by 3pm. They had duga 9 foot trench to bury the wire to the box. It was all filled in like it was never there. Clean job. No fingerprints or dirt anywhere. They fully explained the operation. Started and ran unit. The only problem I and United have is the manufacturer balking at providing the 10 year warranty ( so United says)as promised. I would recommend United Whole heartedly.

Our Generac dealer and install crew was Lee Legler Construction & Electric, Yorkville, IL. Lee, Terry, Mia and Lee's installation crew were a pleasure to do business with. Lee's crew were very easy to deal with and was very professional, very detailed and thorough. From what I have been told is Lee and his crew install one Generac every day of the week. They were on time and immediately got to work with our installation. Very patiently explained how the transfer switch worked and cleaned up everything when done. I can absolutely recommend this business for your purchase and installation.
