We have had this for less than a month, but it was needed last night during power outage in severe thunderstorm. Never having this before, I was holding my breath when it dawned on me ... oh my goodness, it really does work. Went to bed and right to sleep!

We purchased the 22KW Guardian whole house generator. We are very pleased with it's performance. We have had it for about a week and already the electricity went off last night and the generator worked perfectly. Never Dark Carolinas installed our generator and propane tank and we were so pleased with their work ethic and professionalism. We highly recommend them.

Of the home improvements I have made over the past 20 years, the Generac generator is at the top of the list for reliability, dependability, workmanship and an overall feeling of being secure during bad storms, winter, and general outages. I could not be more satisfied with it's performance and the overall addition to my home's value. A great investment for every homeowner that pays off over and over again. WE just installed the 22KW/999. The installation crew of 2 were great and had me going in a day. This is the 6th generator I purchased in the last 4 years, all 6 for different houses. They are are for my children's homes and one rental. No problems with any of them and great service.

Highly recommend Generac. Excellent quality and value. While there are compeitors in the home standy generator business. No one focuses soley in the generator market and puts the technolgy and engineering into its products like Generac. Extremely pleased. Generac has the largest market share in the Generator market for a reason. You can’t go wrong choosing Generac over other brands.

We purchased two 22Kw Whole Home Transfer Switch Back-up with Mobile Link Model: #7043 Natural Gas units in 2023. One unit for our newly built second home in south central Wisconsin and one unit for our home in SW Ohio. Both homes are approximately the same size square footage (approx. 3000sf). We could have gone with an 18Kw unit at each location, but for $500 more we went with the larger capacity unit. The WI unit has already saved us twice from power outages. Like clockwork within 8 seconds the unit kicked in and our entire home, including air conditioning, was engaged for hours like normal. We have the Mobile Link App on both units and we monitor both units in one view on our phones. Both units test weekly like normal for 5 min. The only issue we have had is the WI unit had a software firmware update that kicked the unit to RED and had to be manually reset once on-site. Hoping that will not repeat with future updates. We are very happy with these Generac products and would highly recommend for peace of mind especially with second homes where you are not there full-time.

I purchased and had the Guardian 22KW installed on 041615. We rarely have power outages in our area but I had the Generac installed specifically for Hurricane season. Lo and behold, the day after my generator was installed our area experienced a tornado and power was out in our area for 9 1/2 hours. Three days later we had another bad storm and the area power was out for 6 hours once again. The Generac did just what it is supposed to do. Within seconds of the electricity being disrupted, the Generac kicked on and powered everything we would normally be using for the entire time. We never even would have known the electricity had gone out if we couldn't hear the generator running outside and the few seconds the house went dark before the generator sensed the problem and started automatically. Our generator runs on propane and after being on for close to ten hours, hardly even budged the propane gauge on our 500 gallon tank. It did not even register a gallon used to power the unit for that length of time. We are extremely pleased with our new Generac 22KW and would highly recommend it to friends or family. The professional installers were very efficient and thorough. They did a beautiful job and even completed the installation even though it was storming outside before they were finished. We have had the generator running for only eleven days and it has powered us for (16) very unexpected outage hours. Apparently we got it just in time.

We live several miles from town on a farm where heavy storms can take out the power for extended periods of time. Drifting snow can block the roads for days. With aging parents, one with alzheimers/dementia, I now have peace of mind knowing that I can bring them into my home for warmth, food, and comfort in the event of an outage. I can now go to sleep listening to howling winds without worry. These things make this purchase a fantastic investment for my home.

We thought the process to install gas and electric and the unit itself was well thought out. When running, we were surprised it was not as noisy as we expected. It looks good positioned behind shrubs to cover it from view. Nice tall slab to mount it on takes away any fears of flooding affecting unit. I recommend the Generac unit. I now feel secure I will have power in case of freeze or hurricane.

I can't attest to it really working yet as we just had it installed today but all tests worked. My review is for Banks Construction! What a great team of people. They worked in inclement weather to get this in and we greatly appreciate their professionalism and great work!
