Have been wanting a Generac for a long time, and now I can check this off my list. Our weather gets more and more unstable, and my husband and I couldn't be happier now that we can stay at home in comfort, whenever our location loses power. When away from home, we can check on it through our phone. Praying we never need it, but knowing we won't have to leave home again, to stay in a hotel, is so comforting. This is a such a great investment.

The product is just what we needed in light of hurricanes and winter freezes. It gives us the confidence, safety, and dependability to stay in our home when a weather event or line failure occurs. Generator Industries did a great job on installation and startup.

We had the 26kW-7291 Guardian Home Backup Generator with Whole House Switch WiFi-Enabled installed during October 2022 for the primary purpose of having backup power during the occasional storm related, or other unforeseen power outages, that will occur while living life. Also got it for the rare hurricane related power outage that will happen living in the best State in the USA....Florida. On Christmas Eve 2022 at 1830 hours there was a twelve hour power outage! It happen to also be one of those times in Florida when a COLD weather front was moving through the state and the temperatures were in the upper 30's to mid 40's at night. Right at 60 seconds after the power went off the Generator started up and everything in the house was back on. Can you image power going off on Christmas Eve for twelve hours...the food in the over, on the stove and in the microwave and refrigerators, etc, etc. So as far as I'm concerned the generator paid for itself that night. The only issue I had was to reset the microwave and stove clocks...what a pain:). Seriously thou this Generator is great and I highly recommend it. We installed a 500 gallon underground propane tank as fuel source and after doing the math we should be able to run everything in the house as usual for at least 7 days and longer if we did get back power on several accessories.

We are in our seventies, retired, spoiled with our toys and acutely aware of our potential for health and accident issues. We live in a hurricane prone region. Although, the generator is new and a long term review would address reliability, these thoughts are provided. This generator provides whole house power allowing us to get rid of several devices such as portable generators, lighting and coolers stored/used during power outages. The phones work, CELs charge. We no longer have to buy ice, buy and store gas, move coolers, hook up lighting, wire the frig./freezer to a portable generator and the TV works. It is not only a power source, it is a reason to get rid of several potential safety related functions during outages that we no longer need to accomplish at our age.

Very impressed by the support team, Mariposa Electric from Lindsay, Ontario for myself, who gave proper assistance in the initial determination of need, and then the installation. Machine is great, only quam is that the machine does not have decals on back (for me the front) of the generator

Only had my 24kw for about 1 month, then after severe storms we lost power for 5 days straight. Having a newborn/toddler was one of the main reasons I chose to install one but honestly is a great choice for everyone! Our lives never skipped a beat, it ran our whole house seamlessly including all appliances, our 5 ton a/c unit and even our heated inground pool! Other than the destruction from mother nature you would never have known we were without power and could go on as if nothing happened. Thank you Generac!!!

Had it installed last month and although we haven't had to use it yet, and hope we don't, it's been doing it's exercise every week and reporting to our phones as expected. We live in a rural area so power outages are likely to be lengthy if they occur. Nothing like peace of mind with this unit.

My 22k standby was run for the first time today. My install contractor ran all the tests and walked me through everything I needed to know. I travel quite frequently and always had a concern about my family being alone in a power outage...which happens quite frequently in our area. I am completely satisfied with the purchase and with my contractor. Peace of mind is a great thing!

I had an electrician install this generator brand new out of the box. It started right up and worked fine, however we couldn't get the Wifi module to work. I called Mobilelink and we couldn't figure it out, so I had to have a service tech come out to trouble shoot. Turns out the wifi module wasn't even plugged in. So we plugged it in, connect to the internet and did a software update that ultimately fried the control unit, so now the generator won't even start. The control unit is now on order and am waiting with a very expensive giant paperweight sitting in my yard. To make matters worse, there is currently a heat wave with rolling power outages and my generator is just sitting there doing nothing except burning a hole in my pocket.

Generator Supercenter in Lufkin, TX was our provider. Once we were informed of our install date, everything was flawless. Install team were very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Generac. They certainly have a winning operation from start to finish.
