My house is all electric and for several years I've gotten by with a portable generator, but it couldn't power my entire house. The Generac Guardian 22kw is just the thing for whole house electric power. Installation took place over 5 days, pour the pad (over weekend to set) place generator & 250 gallon tank, then transfer switch install. Finally the battery was installed and unit started. My Heat Pump was turned on then; both heat & air, worked perfectly. Electric hot water tank operates normally under the generator power along with all my other appliances. Weekly 5 minute test run was then programmed; the generator started & stopped on time. Completely satisfied .

In the first year after installing this generator, I had to use it 6 times. Once during the El Dorado Fire (gender reveal fire). It was 110 degrees out and someone set off explosives in a field nearby which ended up burning our mountain community for over a week. During that time there was no power from the grid. My generator kicked in and provided power for me, enough to keep all of the refrigerators running, A/C, well pump and TV. I don't know what I would have done without it, as it was over 100 degrees out and I couldn't open any windows due to extreme amounts of smoke from the nearby fire. I also rely on electricity to pump water in the house from the well. I was able to use all of my appliances. This generator has been a wise investment for me.

I've wanted to install a generator for several years now but pulled the trigger when they offered a 10 year extended warranty option for free. The install process went well but took about 11 hours to do. The finished product looked good. I wish there was an option of some colors because the buscuit color sticks out against a darker color house. The dealer, Lee Legler, did a great job and answered all my questions. The first test run went well. I also like the app you have that lets the homeowner monitor the generator's status.

Knowing that the generator automatically provided electricity for the whole house is very comforting. The installers were very professional and completed everything in one day. Having the annual maintenance agreement ensures that the unit will be taken care of every year

The system was installed very professionally, and at a pretty reasonable price. As a senior couple, my wife and I wanted safety and quick response in the event of a power outage. My wife is on oxygen and I have limited mobility in my 80’s. The system provided great peace of mind and no complicated process to learn. It does everything automatically. I have had the system 2 months and have already been needed twice. The system kicked on quickly and shut off without any work for me to do.

I recently installed a 14kw Generac Guardian series generator for my back up needs so that its easier on my wife because im gone alot for work. It was a breeze to install and works automatically when power is interrupted on the first try! I definitely recommend this product to anyone!

Purchased the new 22kw unit, running on natural gas and transfer switch package. Excellent dealer support. The installation tech was extremely knowledgeable and knew all aspects of the electrical and mechanical components of the installation. I wish that the exercise run timer could be adjustable for say, 10 or 15 minutes in lieu of the existing 5 minutes. Easy unit to perform service and maintenance....wide open panels. Evolution controller's annunciator is s great feature should any problems develop. I purchased the wireless monitor system in lieu of the WiFi package. The new housing is now aluminum which should many years of long life. I also purchased the Generac mounting pad to complete a great looking installation. I'm totally satisfied with the system in all regards. Bob Renton RJ

I have owned a generac for over 20 years,, my first was a 13000 watt standby I replaced it with a 22000 watt in 2022 best yet. Just had atree rip into my garage just last week..May 15 2025.. Generac has run for 4 Days straight. Electric service torn away from house,

My Generac generator was just installed last week in Mi. I lose power a lot and this 22k generator should be exactly what I need! The look of the generator is very very nice for a large item! Budget Electric and Generators installed it in hours, and the job turned out very nice for where my city made me place it!! They are an excellent company in Clinton Twp. Mi.
