The product looks great and performs very well on tests I had no chance to test it during power outage as we had no significant outages since instillation The team that installed it were great . Professional, on time and knowledgeable. It looks great and has many new features. I like that it has a long term warranty at no extra charge. Like insurance, it is good to have but hope I don't need to use

My new Generac whole-house generator eliminates the need to refrain from using heat/air during a power outage. Much more convenient. Also, the new plastic housing eliminates the serious rust problem we experienced with the prior metal encased unit. And finally, no more replacing the battery every year. The new charging system has come into the modern ages and does not charge all the time until the battery explodes. Like an iPhone or other device, it only charges when needed and stops at full charge. Overall, I am well-pleases with the new, larger unit and find greater peace of mind in ownership.

Installed April 2017 right next to service entrance. Looks very nice and reassuring. My wife and I feel a weight lifted. No more 20 below January nights yanking on a pull-cord with stiff oil in the pan. First power outage came this June, in 45 seconds we had power and there was no hint when the power came back and the generator turned off. We have the 22kw standalone. One thing to remember. The generator comes set for a delay start up time of only 5 seconds. Every little power hit or sag will have the generator starting and stopping. Only your approved service installer can change that time. We had ours changed to 30 seconds. No only real power failures turn the generator on. Comes on every Saturday morning for 10 minutes. Connected to its own 500 gallon propane tank. Worth every cent at 73 years old. Save a lot of money the closer to your service entrance you can get. Buy the biggest generator you can afford, I suggest the biggest.

We're about 6 months into ownership now, and have experienced 1 power outage. The machine performed flawlessly. We live in a rural area area where power is lost quite often due to storms and it's really comforting to know life is not interrupted because of that. That said, I wish to add the home surge protector was also a worthy investment. Thank you Generac.

We've all been there. Lights out and no idea when it will be restored. With our increased dependence on reliable energy loss of power is serious. The night our Generac was installed I told my wife I had never had the feeling of complete peace of mind after purchasing a product or service like that I experienced after our Generac was installed. We've lost power twice since installing it three months ago. The feeling in the house is 'oh well" compared to a panic we experienced before. I highly recommend installing a Generac, not only does it provide energy, it also provides a level of peace of mind few will ever know. The guys and BNK that installed it are terrific. They are polite, knowledgable and cleaned up the job site beautifully.

Working with Joey McDonald these last few months to figure out placement/logisitics and timing on my new construction home to bring the generac online was worth it. Peace of mind instantly when Hurricane Nate rolled through the Gulf Coast, I was ready but happily didn't need to use it. Joey was hands on, knowledgeable and responsive to all communication. Happy we did it!

So far this has been a good investment. Thankfully we have not had to utilize it. It self tests every Monday and appears to be working fine. At least wedon't have to worry anymore about losing power for days on end. Glad we haven't had to use it yet extremely elated that it is available if a need arrives.

We were out of town when the only power outage we have had since we purchased the generator occured. However, it appears taht the generator did operate during that outage. Our primary feelings is that we know we are prepared in the event of a long outage.

Due to the long time it took to get gas service installed, my generator has only been in service for about a month. So far it has done its thing by starting and running once a week for self diagnostics. I have had one outage on my outside electrical service caused by a small animal, and the unit started in a few seconds and carried the house until external service was restored. Transfer back was very quick, so quick that I did not even notice the transfer and did not need to reset the clock on my microwave.

Have not had a loss in commercial power since installation (naturally) but unit starts well on auto start cycle. I installed cold weather kit, so far the coldest temps at start up have been + 20 f and start up was fine. Hope to get a day below zero and see how it preforms. Don
