This generator installed in September 2016 by and authorized dealer. Since then, we've had two power outages and the unit functioned perfectly both times. It's not too noisy (something we appreciate during the weekly self-test) and seems to be very fuel efficient. We have a 22 Kw system, and have been able to run pretty much everything we wanted when it was in operation. Overall, we're very pleased and wish we had gotten a Generac sooner.

Installed 22kw unit in October 2016. We are away for several weeks during the winter and we were always fearful that a power outage would result in catastrophic damage to our home and business due to frozen pipes. We also have a sewer pump/grinder unit that only has a capacity of 100 gallons. If we lost power, we couldn't use water without fear of sewage backing up into our house.. My electrician recommended Generac over the other leading brand and reviews backed up his opinion. So we had it installed. It took about a week due to the additional installation of two propane tanks. To date it has given us peace of mind when we are away. The mobile link has worked great allowing us to check the status of the generator when we are out of state. We haven't had any power outages as of yet, but I'm sure one will happen sooner before later.

We installed our Generac back up unit in the Soring of 2016 and our experience has been nothing short of outstanding. The generator went in with minimal effort, and is working marvelously with no worries or effort from us. We are amazed and confident now with the peace of mind the Generac has given us. I travel extensively for my job and with the Generac watching out for my family while I'm gone, I feel at ease.

We live in a forest. Ice storms and heavy snow can take out electric for days at a time. With our generator the unbelievable inconvenience is a thing of the past. We spend the winter in Florida so use the cell phone system to notify us whenever it starts or more importantly whenever it doesn't. So far it has started every time but it is good to know that I will know if it doesn't start up.

Nice complete package. I found the instructions for installation confusing. I would have liked all the specifications for installation in one place or chart. Wire and pipe sizing chart would be nice. Runs great, works great. Other than weekly exercising, it has only come on one time for about 15 minutes.

My wife and I are in our mid seventies, and it's a nice feeling knowing we won't be without what we need when we need it. This is here for us, and we can't ask for anything more than that. One of the best investments we made for ourselves. Thank you Generac.

Installation was very straight forward with our installer. Looked better than other installs I had seen in the past. Unit is definitely quiter and more efficient too. The 10 year warranty Is amazing and is certainly a manufacturer testimony to the quality we can expect to receive from this unit.

Power went out for 3 days after the install of our generac generator....ran continuous with no problems....convenience was exceptional of not having to manually start..powered the house with ability to do laundry, dishs and live life as if the power never went out. i highly recommend if you have power outages.....

I bought the 24kw unit with transfer switch from Select Generators in late April 2025. Install went well but had bad oil leak during 3rd hour of the 25 hour break-in period. Dealer and Generac replaced the engine. Since engine replacement the unit has worked great. Only had a few small power outages since install and the generator worked flawlessly to restore home power during each outage. Will see how it does with the 2026 hurricane season. The mobile link is also useful to see hour usage, battery status and history of exercises and outages.

I thought about this purchase for a long time. While the monitoring options for this generator are not good and the heater option seems to over priced and not reliable according to others the generator is awesome and best bang for the buck. Please bring back the local remote monitoring option that has no monthly fee.
