Not very thick, didn't cook up well. I took the cheap way since it was 3 bucks less than wright brand... I'll go back to paying more for better quality

I've been buying the 4 lb. Wright's bacon for years. Thought I'd give the member's mark a try. I cook in bacon grease frequently and the MM has a more fat, which I approve of. It's $4 less also.

Very Salty, Caramelizes quickly and excessively, I will not purchase again, going back to name brand options. The price point being less is attractive however the quality of the product can not justify buying.

Whoop whoop!!! Finally a members mark bacon that’s thick sliced at a great price! My husband was shocked that I bought bacon, because ordinarily I refuse to pay the high price of bacon. This is a really thick slice and tastes great. We’ll definitely continue purchasing if the price stays down! Thank Sams!

These Member's Mark Double Smoked Thick Sliced Bacon, 2 lbs., 2 pks are a big deal. Not only are they thick and flavorful, but they do not shrink very much when you cook them. They also have a hint of maple flavor that I did not expect. This is a lot of bacon and it goes a long way!

I usually buy Wright Bacon but the applewood variety has been discontinued at Sam's. I suspect that was to drive customers to this Members Mark bacon. This bacon is chewy and tough. It seems to burn on the edges before the rest gets cooked. I won't purchase any more. I will purchase Wright Bacon or some other brand.

I usually buy the Wright thick cut applewood smoked bacon but I’ve noticed the price on the Members Mark double smoked bacon being a good $4 cheaper for the same amount of bacon. I bake mine in the oven and I have to say for the price this bacon is good. I’ll definitely purchase it again. I wouldn’t say it is the exact quality as the Wright but it’s definitely a good bacon.

I could never get it crispy and cooked it for a long time. I and my son decided to go ahead and eat it anyway. The smell was normal but had a very odd taste and I wound up sick for hours after eating it. Very sharp stomach pains. I will never purchase this bacon again.

I usually cold-smoke my own bacon in the winter time and freeze it but I wanted to give this a try. If you like a really sweet, extra thick sliced bacon, this is it. It has a great taste but it also has a fairly high sugar content. You have to cook it REALLY slow, otherwise it'll burn. That excess sugar tended to make a mess in my cast iron bacon cooker. If you like to cook your bacon in the oven it should cook nicely without all that sugar caramelizing in the bottom of the pan. I knocked two stars off for being overly sweet, and it's a pricy.

I'm extremely happy to see that Sam's is finally making Members Mark thick sliced bacon! It cooks well without a lot of shrinkage in the frying pan and in the oven. Tastes great too! We've enjoyed it for breakfast and BLT sandwiches for lunch and dinner. Keep up the good work!
