These tomales were great. Very large in size with lots of meat inside. Had just the right amount of spice, not too spicey but not bland.. packages were wrapped/shuck wrapped into four packs. Fixed 2 of packs for family with chili and cheese for dinner. When they were delivered still frozen very good. Came in strofoam box with blue ice..

If you have a hispanic/mexican palate for Tamales, these are a must try! I had somewhat low expectations, since I'm more of a traditional (make and eat them) person. Boy was I thrown off, the tamales were extra stuffed with very rich flavor. The package comes in a dozen (3 packs of 4, each) which allows you to eat for a small dinner for yourself or make them all for a family sized meal. They may be a little greasy for some people, but the flavor keeps you wanting more!

These tamales are massive! Overall I really liked the pork tamales. They are packaged really well, I like how they are vacuum sealed in groups of four. It makes it very convenient to cook a few at a time. The flavor is very good and there is a good amount of meat in each tamale. My only criticism is the masa is a little thicker than I would like.

The Padrino Pork Tamales are a simple and tasty meal to prepare. Conveniently, they come in three vacuum sealed packages with four pieces each. Heating them by placing a sealed package in boiling water yields moist tamales (reheating in the microwave wasn’t bad either) that make a good meal. Served with yellow rice or other desired accompaniment rounds out a dinner.

These are pretty legit! There is more meat than masa and the flavoring is good. They aren't dry either! If you're looking for a cheap and easy tamale and you're not fortunate enough to live near authentic Mexican food spots, these are a great option!

Went in low expectations since we make our own which are truely authentic. The flavor is great and are far above and beyond what you get at a restaurant. The masa amount is about the perfect ratio and a generous amount of meat. 2 tamles per adult is about right.

These tamales were a great size! I was so excited to see how big they were but the taste was just off. They didnt taste like any pork tamales I've had before and pork are my go to. Chalky and bland. Disappointed with flavor but 3 stars due to size and packaging. Great instructions / ease of heating.

My family enjoyed these Padrino pork tamales! The flavor and corn husk were very authentic! These tamales came in two individual bags and fully cooked. All I had to do was put the tamale bag in boiling water for a few minutes and wala dinner served! Very convenient and full of flavor! This is an item I would definitely keep on hand for a quick and easy meal!

While I'm not always a huge fan of tamales since I find many of them fairly dry, these are very tasty and juicy with a nice texture. Love the pork flavor. Each tamale is a very good sized portion and can easily be a meal by itself when combined with some sour cream and salsa, along with a few chips. Has changed my opinion of tamales!

I'm not really sure where to start here, so I'll just start with a little background. My grandmother handmade tamales when I was growing up and so when I saw these I was instantly interested, and skeptical. The packaging was perfectly fine, but I was surprised to see that they were essentially "boil in a bag" tamales. I could have microwaved them as well, but I opted for the boil method as that was recommended. I boiled one bag for 20 minutes and afterwards, I could already smell them...which means the bag was not fully sealed, I guess. When I cut open the bag I was instantly struck by just how greasy these things were (you can see that in the picture). The smell was okay (not too great, but not bad), and the texture was fine. There is a lot of meat and a good balance with the masa. The flavor was about a 4/10 if I'm comparing it to homemade, but probably 7/10 compared to other premade or prepackaged tamales. Overall, they are just okay. Tamales are not a healthy selection ever, but the amount of grease on these was really hard to handle on my stomach.
