I was on the fence about these, but when you're craving some tamales, you give it a try. They were easy to warm up and they looked a little on the greasy/oily side BUT let me say, that couldn't have been further from the truth. They did not taste oily/greasy AND they tasted delicious! They tasted homemade and I would have thought my grandma made them. My husband and daughter loved them as well. It was a great dinner! Easy and delicious.

Pork tamales were fair. I was not too excited because they were bland, the masa fell apart easily, and they tasted like someone who does not know how to make tamales made them. I honestly would not buy them; however, I live in an area where tamales are made fresh daily so I maybe biased. Maybe if I lived in another part of the country (not south Texas), I would like them more;

These pork tamales are delicious. They’re my daughter’s favorite food and it can be hard to track down good tamales, but finding these has made it easy to have them on hand. They’re extremely easy to heat up and they are great, even my picky husband enjoys them!!

The tamales are some of the best store bought tamales that we have tried. They are well stuffed with meat and are easy to prepare using the included packaging. Just drop the tamales into a pot of boiling water while still in the packaging and they are ready in 15 minutes.

These tamales were quite tasty and extremely easy to prepare. I simply boiled them in the bags, popped them on a platter with salsa and sour cream on the side and dinner was done. My only slight criticism is that they were a little on the greasy side. Other than that they would make for a great meal on a busy night.

Went in low expectations since we make our own which are truely authentic. The flavor is great and are far above and beyond what you get at a restaurant. The masa amount is about the perfect ratio and a generous amount of meat. 2 tamles per adult is about right.

Amazing tamales! They are huge and have a ton of meat. Meat is so full of favor. If you like bland food these aren’t for you. Even the masa has a flavor of their own. Tamales are packaged in 3 separate packages so they don’t have to be cooked all at the same time.

These tamales are so so good. They were super easy to make, from freezer to plate in 20 mins. Just need to boil the plastic packet with the tamales for 20 mins on the stove top and they will come out perfect. They had great flavor and tasted very authentic to me. They tasted fresh, not like frozen meal. Almost too good, wanted another serving .

I was a little nervous receiving food in the mail but felt a little better when I received it still frozen and in a cute little ice chest. Usually purchasing tamales they are smaller in size and more masa than meat. These are bigger in size and have a nice amount of meat. They have lots of flavor as well. I think it’s safe to say I would definitely purchase again.

First off I really wanted to give these 5 stars, because they were tasty. I took one star off because the filling is just a little too dry and could be a little better quality. It was almost too dry. The masa was good though reminded me of a good Tex-mex tamale. I would recommend these as something to keep in the freezer and eat if you are craving tamales but don’t want to have to cook them.
