Package came in good condition. However there was a slight dent to the tank. Still useable. Too inconvenient to lug back and return. The paint job is a bit lacking as you can see rust on the bottom of tank where it meets tank stand. If they package better and paint better at the factory then I would have given 5 stars. Laziness and bad quality control completely ruins it. Will update with photos when I get the chance.

Got it this morning and took it right to my propane dealer to have it filled. He took one look at it and said "be right back" Brought out a memo from the US DOT, specifying the stamped numbers on this tank that it is NOT approved. returning tank this afternoon.

I am getting ready to purchase this tank. It is surprising how so many people are complaining about how the tank being empty . The tank is supposed to be empty. When you first make your purchase of a propane tank it is empty and then you buy propane for the tank.

My 30 lb. Propane Cylinder was received on time and in good condition. It took it to my local Tractor Supply store to have it filled and it was filled with no problem. I am very happy with this purchase and intend to purchase another 30 lb. Propane Cylinder in the near future.

Living in my RV full time I was in need of a propane tank. I didn't want anything too big and 30lb was the right size for us. walmart had the best price and having it shipped to the store saved on shipping charges and it was there right when they said it would be. love ordering and picking up at the nearest walmart to me will do it again and again. I have also recomended it to my family and friends.

There is nothing to note or distinguish this tank from any other high quality propane tank. This is a high quality tank. 1. This tank comes unfilled. You are buying a tank, just as described above. 2. ALL new tanks require purging and any and every qualified seller of propane knows this and knows how to do it. 3. Please don't leave stupid comments advertising your own ignorance by complaining about the tank being empty, requiring purging, being expensive, etc. This is a new tank for those who want to own their own propane tanks. For those that like the exchange programs, do not buy this tank. I only use tanks that I own. So this works well for my needs. Always let your propane filling station know when you have a new, never been filled tank. They will purge it differently than a refill.

standard sized tank refill of propane for/with, whatever. This is the standard size that I am 100% certain is available at the Home Depot for example. . I don’t know if that store has other sizes available or not because when I called to inquire whether they had a larger size which I would have bought had I known for sure there was a matching size for which I will now explain unless you are already familiar with the process: the rep at HD I spoke with wanted far more information than I felt was necessary so I hung up. The point is that I had another tank exactly like this one. You don’t go somewhere like Hank’s on King of the Hill here to buy propane and propane products. Here in Las Vegas, NV you take an empty tank and upon paying for the propane you place the empty tank into an empty cage of sorts that locks it in to secure it from theft. You then have access to a full tank of propane that was pre-filled and ready for use. So you don’t keep the tank you receive from Walmart. With that, I don’t see how it matters if the tank comes gift wrapped with a gazillion bells and whistles you never dreamed or could have imagined was even possible because around here anyway you swap the empty tank you receive from Walmart here with another one from wherever you purchase it so the odds you ever see the same tank you bought and received here again aren’t good. You will probably never see the same tank again and unless you ordered o unique one with a gazillion bells and whistles you probably wouldn’t recognize it even if you did. I gave it 5 stars just the same because now I have something to swap for a tank full of propane for my propane powered portable generator in the event of an emergency. It’s a nice enough looking tank I guess and even if there is something wrong with it you will most likely never even know for the reasons I just explained.

30 lb propane cylinder - I really enjoyed receiving the tanks. They were packaged well and looked great! I am very pleased with them as well as the cost!! Great buy for the money and I recommend them to any one needing to replace their propane tanks.

All came as advertised, in a clean sealed cardboard box, the box was padded top and bottom. The tank was wrapped in a expandable mesh meant to absorb shock. The Tank had a label just like the picture. Everything went alright in having the tank serviced for the first time. I paid a reasonable price, Walmart delivered, as expected, Thank You.

Heavy steel tank with overfill protection. Tank was not purged when purchased but Tractor Supply purged and filled the tank for just the cost of the propane. Tank is well constructed with correct welds and sturdy collar with valve protection. Filled and leak tested with no leaks found. Good value for the money.
