We are sorry to hear that you had trouble filling your tank. Sometimes if the valve is open when the propane pump is turned on, that sudden rush of pressure (and there is always some air initially in the valve space etc) can push the air in and down that activates the OPD. If this happens your tank can still be filled by following the procedure in this video which you can show this to the propane filler: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXZjLaVskPM
