I am getting ready to purchase this tank. It is surprising how so many people are complaining about how the tank being empty . The tank is supposed to be empty. When you first make your purchase of a propane tank it is empty and then you buy propane for the tank.

These went out of stock right after I offered them. I ordered the 2 pack and it was slightly delayed. When the tanks arrived the box looked like it fell of a truck and then was hit by a car and pushed over a cliff. Thanks FedEx. There was minimal packing inside. Somehow a miracle happened. The tanks were not scratched or damaged. If these tanks come in stock again I would highly recommend them. The value cant be beat and the construction seems stout.

These are excellent EMPTY tanks, as they are intended to be. You buy an empty tank to have filled at a propane seller, so you have a clean source of propane and tank that you know the history of. You won't find a FILLED tank that will be shipped to you, period, it's illegal and dangerous. No one would do it.

This is my 2nd 30 lb propane cylinder from this site and I give 5 stars for quality, price and speedy shipping. Why pay the propane dealer 60-80 bux for this when Walmart will ship it FREE to your door in just a FEW days!!?? + it was 12.00 cheaper than the last one I bought on this site a month ago!

30 lb propane cylinder - I really enjoyed receiving the tanks. They were packaged well and looked great! I am very pleased with them as well as the cost!! Great buy for the money and I recommend them to any one needing to replace their propane tanks.

Heavy steel tank with overfill protection. Tank was not purged when purchased but Tractor Supply purged and filled the tank for just the cost of the propane. Tank is well constructed with correct welds and sturdy collar with valve protection. Filled and leak tested with no leaks found. Good value for the money.

Got it this morning and took it right to my propane dealer to have it filled. He took one look at it and said "be right back" Brought out a memo from the US DOT, specifying the stamped numbers on this tank that it is NOT approved. returning tank this afternoon.

If you buy them brand new, you are going to end up giving it to walmart for a filled used one, although is $2.00 cheaper, but if you don't care, just get one full of propane at walmart for $44.00 A manager told me used one is $10.00 cheaper, she was wrong, the used one is $2.00 more expensive.
