Yes the tank is empty. However it needs to be properly purged (yellow sticker noting this, in small text) on the tank. The purging process has multiple steps (i think, in part, 4 purges using small qty of LP gas) before the tank can be SAFELY filled and used. Lastly, most LP filling companies only provide "purging service" to commercial accounts - not retail users.

Like I said previously, the propane tank is working like it should, but really I think that it’s a little pricey.

New can edges have NOT been deburred. Edges are sharp in areas. Otherwise perfectly acceptable propane tank.

Comes pre vacuumed so it’s easy to get it filled. It will be used on a generator if we have a power outage
