Good Bagels

These are the best bagels we have been able to find. I put them in the toaster oven for a few minutes and that gives them that extra freshness and a tiny crustiness.

Member's Mark Plain sl8ced bagels

Our family has enjoyed these for years, plain or everything even raisin. Toasted with morning coffee n eggs, snack, or serve with burger n fried egg in between, very good.

Bagel Shop Quality, almost

These bagels are of good quality as they legitimately appear and taste almost like bagel shop bagels. It's worth noting though that they are not fresh baked as they appear to be thawed from frozen and then put out for sale. The price has also been creeping up on these and that's been a bit of a disappointment as I feel that this should be a type of product that Sam's keeps the price at consistently low.

Pretty Good!

I hesitated to buy these because of the reviews, but last week I caved because I didn't feel like going to a second store. I'm glad I did because I have zero complaints about these. I usually buy the name brand bagels and I could hardly taste a difference. They stayed fresh the whole week and I'll definitely be buying them again.

Ok, but doesn't taste like a real bagel should.

Probably Won't buy again. Bagels are fresh and edible, but they don't have the consistency or texture of what a real bagel should taste like, which was disappointing. These are too soft and don't have the right texture or the little bit of a harder crust that a true bagel should have. Sam's Club needs to rework their method or recipe.

Cut weird

The top of the bagel is cut so thin it rips apart when trying to take it off. Because the top is so think the bottom is too thick and ends up being too thick to fit in the toaster without shoving it in.

Bagles were dry

Although these bagles had a good taste and texture, they were drier than a bagle should be. They were quite crumbly and it was difficult to spread cream cheese on them.

Not the Best

I tried Sams bagels a few years ago and wasn't very happy with them, so I thought I'd give them another try. The main complaint is that they don't slice them very well. The slice is crooked and usually only goes halfway through the bagel. This is beyond frustrating and annoying. You have to get a knife and re-cut every bagel. They are also a little dry, but I'd be willing to overlook this if they were at least sliced decently.

Sometimes slower is better.

The bagels were cut unevenly and not all the way through. They turned moldy very quickly. They were packaged very haphazardly. I was very disappointed. I had to throw away 4 out of 6 in the package.

Terrible bagels

These bagels are terrible! Very hard and dense. They don't last more than a day or two before they become even worse (rock hard)! We purchase these in bulk for a child care center and have decided to stop using them and just get some from the regular grocery store; our kids can barely bite in to them! The bagels they had before Daily Chef were fantastic. They need to get rid of these and get a different brand. Yes, they are cheaper, but I would rather spend the extra money on a better product. Don't buy them!
