When Coca-Cola announced a change of the formula of their soft drink in 1984, a lot of people weren't happy. Subsequently, they re-introduced the original formula in the form of "Coca-Cola Classic." With one caveat: they replaced real sugar with HFCS. This Coca-Cola (de Mexico)?...Tastes like old-school Coca-Cola, before they changed the formula. This reminds me of how CC tasted back in the day: sweet, bold, and flavorful. Plus, the glass bottles are how CC was meant to be tasted, with nothing affecting the taste (like the plastic bottles do). If you love how Coca-Cola tasted before they switched formulas, you'll love this CC. Has the original seal caps, too, unlike twist caps, you will need a bottle-opener for these. While we've improved so many aspects of life since the mid-80s, this one is a welcome throwback to when CC tasted great. Fantastic product.

My husband loves the taste of this Mexican Coca-Cola. The first time we bought it was in a much smaller quantity from our regular grocery store. He loved it from the start. Buying it in a smaller quantity was a bit expensive so when we saw it in Sam’s Club in a 24 pack, it was more cost effective. It was ten dollars less a few years back while he was still working so we bought this on a fairly regular basis. He retired almost 2 years ago and inflation raised the cost ten dollars higher. That was a huge shock to us for it to have gone up that much! So now we only buy this as a treat once in awhile. The taste of this is great. The only downside is the price.

I like Coke but don't care for the corn syrup used as sweetener in American bottled Coke products. I believe it is used in too many products and I try to avoid as many as possible. Coke in a glass bottle, sweetened with sugar, is so much better and gets colder and stays colder longer due to the glass bottle. I have been buying this product for many years, even before Sam's began stocking it but Sam's price is much lower than I previously paid. I guess I'm 'old school' and like the way Coke used to taste and this is original. This product is bottled in Mexico in a Coca-Cola factory and is superb!

Cane sugar takes the drink back to my childhood. There is a difference in taste vs high fructose corn syrup. Sugar version a little spicier and I like it better. But not that much better than twice the price or more. Calories about the same. This drink classified as a treat - not a habit because of price.

Excellent! Love these because they are made with cane sugar. No corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup. They are expensive so we buy them as a treat! Only issue is my Sam’s club doesn’t carry them I have to drive 45 min to another Sam’s to get them.

I have lost 30 lbs in a year, and 1 reason is because I was told I was bordering on diabetes. So i quit most sugar, I drink a lot of water and unsweet tea/ I do buy this coke. It is delicious. I usually have 1 a week or every other week. It lasts me a while. I prefer the variety pack with the faygo and sprite in it when I can find it. The taste is totally different from the plastic bottles.

This, right here, is the reason I drive to Sam's. It's a long drive, the traffic is miserable, and the place is always packed. But it is all worth it to get my real Cokes. In glass bottles. The difference is amazing. They are way more expensive than cans or plastic bottles. But it's worth it. And the price at Sam's is much better than nearby grocery stores. The only thing I wish is that there would be a way to return the glass bottles right at Sam's. There is a group about 60 miles away that collects glass bottles to crush for coastal restoration. It's too expensive for me, as an individual, to sign up for them to collect my bottles. But it would be AMAZING if my local Sam's would work something out so customers could return the bottles for use int he coastal restoration project.

Here's the thing- I am a recovering almond mom. I work out a lot. I eat carefully but not in a disordered way. There is nothing as satisfying as a Mexican. Coke, made with real cane sugar, either straight from the gorgeously sinuous glass bottle or over ice with a wedge of lemon. I keep it stocked on my home bar cart to make Bacardi & Coke with lime. I'm not kidding- it's so crisp and delicious and not too sweet. I'm dying to know the secret recipe! I'm going to get one right now as I'm working. I'll forever drink my water all day out of my giant bottle but this is pure perfection and heaven in a drink xoxo

I LOVE Mexican Coke. I get these from Sam's Club along with another well-known wholesale retailer. In November 2025 BOTH companies sold Mexican coke that had a bad taste to it. Amazingly, AI was able to look where the lot was produced. There are 2 different plants in Mexico. One of them had their Coke sitting in a warehouse too long and the sugar broke down and made it taste bad. If you look at other reviews from November 2025, you'll see the same problem. Sams Club refunded my order no questions asked, but it was still disappointing. Still my religiously and they taste normal again. I was told that this is common in the fall and early winter.

Great product a little high in price but great taste
