Very nice product, but do yourself three favors. 1) Download the BILT app. This helps clear up any doubts you have about how things go together. You still have to pay attention to the details of the instructions! 2) Don't get in a hurry. Make sure you take the time to make sure the parts are properly aligned before tightening things down. This will aid in proper fit in subsequent steps. 3) Have plenty of room to lay out the six cartons that this unit comes in. I was killing myself trying to make sub-assemblies in one side of my garage and digging through boxes while it poured down rain outside. Also, it's really nice to have help. It DOES TAKE THREE PEOPLE to install the roof panels. After some struggles, still Very happy with this piece.

I saw this Gazebo on display at Sams Club and I had to have. It’s well built, tons of space and the power/usb outlets is by far the best feature. My backyard is the talk of the neighborhood!!! I added some lights to it and made it even more cozy! Don’t hesitate!!! BUY IT!!!!!!

We purchased our Cordova 14X10 Gazeebo in July and had it installed on our pool deck on four foot deep concrete footers. One of the main reasons we went with Backyard Discovery was the ability for the structure to withstand heavy winds. I live in the Tampa area and we just went through Hurricane Milton last night. I had major concerns about the metal roof and when I woke up this morning, the entire structure was completely intact. Apart from the being a beautiful structure, it’s amazing to see that it withstood 90 mph gusts and sustained winds of 75 mph for several hours. If you want a well built and beautiful pavilion, I’d highly recommend Backyard Discovery. We couldn’t be more pleased.

We have had trouble finding a nice gazebo to put on our deck. Where we live, we tend to have wind even when it is not a windy day. Last month, we had a wind storm with gusts up to 75 miles per hour. This gazebo is still standing. Not only is this gazebo very durable with weather, it is very beautiful to look at. We are very happy with our purchase. Putting the gazebo together could be a challenge for some. Basically you are building this yourself except everything is already cut and drilled to put together. Directions are very good and all the pieces had holes drilled correctly. It will take at least 3 people to install the roof. Expect to take more than one day to put this together. We have no complains with our purchase of this gazebo. I would recommend this for its beauty and durability.

This Gazebo is engineered well, packaged great and if you follow the written instructions you will not have a problem. Now with that said, please put the 10 hours of intermediate assembly time out of your head, it takes much more that that. I consider myself advanced when it comes to assembly of something like this and other than needing help to raise the roof panels and adding the side trim I built it myself and I am 64. The roof panel install took 1 1/2 hours with three people and you will need that many in my opinion. Follow all the tips and instructions in the manual. I really recommend spending the time to open every box and remove everything. Keep all the hardware in their bags so you can reference the part number. Organize the wood, hardware and other misc. parts. Regarding the kit I received, nothing was broken or missing. If you are following the instructions everything fits together as intended. If you are finding yourself wanting to rework something you are probably building it wrong. All bolt locations and pilot holes were where they should be. I built this Gazebo on a new paver patio. The 4 x 4's shown in the picture were squared and spanned using the drawing in the manual to support the Gazebo and are buried in concrete 30" down. I did not want to anchor the Gazebo to the pavers or pour separate slabs but instead wanted to use Lag Bolts through the Gazebo columns which I knew were hollow into the 4 x 4's. Again in my opinion this how I wanted to support lateral forces and wind load. When you first open all the boxes and see all the parts the project looks overwhelming. But in truth it's not and if you take your time you will be happy with the build. This is a very robust, well designed and manufactured product that in no way looks cheap sitting on your patio.

We purchased this through Sam's Club. The main reason we went with this brand is that it is rates for 100mph winds. The other brands were farliwe, often only in the 40mph range. We live in Florida so this is especially important. My husband built it largely by himself, got some help from a friend to lift certain sections. The one downside is that there are no accessories sold specifically for this model, such as a bar counter or screen kit.

Unfortunately I do not have the gazebo up some issues that I am trying to clear up has held up the assembly. I did see this gazebo in person set up in Sams club and I fell in love with it immediately and it is so sturdy and so well designed I knew right away that i had to have it. Again I cannot take pictures or video until I have it assembled, but be rest assured that I will share many pictures and video as soon as that happens. We have been very happy with our gazebo. It's already made it through a low grade hurricane too. It is certainly a project to get it built but the instructions are clear. My husband and I did the initial structure ourselves over a couple weekends and then called our high school age nephew over to help us put on the roof. We worked over 3 weekends in May 2023 to get it completed and have enjoyed it daily ever since.

This review is overdue by a month but I wanted to wait until I had the some other work around the pool area completed before I posted photos. Before I start, a local builder quoted me over $35K for a gazebo build – with a start date of fall of 2023. I searched online and Backyard Discovery had some great looking products. We selected the 16x12 Barrington Gazebo. First, the online purchasing experience easy and intuitive. (10/10) I selected the assembly option which is performed by a company called Go Configure (more on that later). Communication from Backyard Discovery was great and they were very clear and concise on delivery dates. (10/10) The actual delivery was performed exactly as promised and they even placed the boxes in my garage for safekeeping. The boxes are huge so unless you have helpers, I recommend you clear a space in your garage or other covered area in advance of delivery and have them put it there for you (if you can). Our driver was awesome and called in advance of delivery and then could not have been more pleasant and helpful. I wish I remembered the company to give them props. (10/10) Next, the assembly was scheduled through Go Configure. I read some pretty bad reviews online about them so I was worried. However, they scheduled the assembly a week or so after the gazebo was delivered and called me in advance to let me know a spot opened up earlier. I grabbed the opening. The folks at Go Configure were great with communication with both calls and texts. (10/10). The assembly team showed up as promised early on a Saturday. A team of 3 men were in the crew. They moved the enormous boxes to the assembly area from my garage and proceeded to unbox and set up. I looked out the window and in an hour or so the frame was up. In another hour a large portion of the roof was in place. In less than 4 hours they had completed the assembly. This team was outstanding. They were highly skilled and had done this many times before. I can’t say enough good things about the team and my experience with Go Configure. We are in the DFW area, so we may just have a really great territory for the company. I can’t say how it works in other regions but if you get the crew we got, it will be a flawless experience. They never stopped until the job was done and done way beyond my expectations. (10/10) We had a bunch of other expensive work done on our pool area before the gazebo went in but the amazing thing is that we are far more happy with the gazebo from Backyard Discovery than anything else done. I did put some pavers around the base supports to enhance the look a bit and installed a TV and ceiling fans but the gazebo construction made this a breeze. We get a ton of compliments and more importantly – a ton of use and enjoyment from the gazebo. Thank you Backyard Discovery and Go Configure for making this dream a reality. There is not one thing that could have been done better – truly flawless. By the way, this is not a paid review, we are a real family who randomly found Backyard Discovery online – I am as shocked as you may be that this went so perfectly.
