We have used the Windmill AC for the past two summers to combat the northeastern heat and humidity. After a summer of successful use, our unit's compressor unexpectedly stopped working during the second summer. The Windmill AC team helped trouble shoot the issue and when it became apparent that the issue couldn't be solved, quickly sent out a replacement unit. They were absolutely wonderful to work with! We were able to engage with real people the entire time. They made the process a breeze- pun fully intended! ;-) Within a few days, we had a new unit in place to combat the summer heat! The unit keeps our place cool, is a quieter than any we have ever used (and we have used them all!), and isn't an eyesore! Wins all around!

I live in a small apartment in NYC — the Windmill AC was perfect for my shoebox-sized room. I loved the fact that I could control it remotely to cool down my room before I got off the subway, and I found it incredibly intuitive to use. I'm moving to a larger apartment in a couple months and looking forward to getting a second one. Also, my roommate's cat loves to sit by it too!

I love my two Windmill window units! They are streamlined and effective, providing cooling without noise and provide a very clean, minimal look in my rooms. I like how the air comes out the top, like an arc, so my daughter can still work at her art table and not be blasted with cold air. Love the app management, too.

I ordered the Windmill for our living room to replace an old, very loud window air conditioner. The Windmill attracted me because it was advertised as being very quiet. The advertisement wasn't wrong. It was such a hot summer that we ran the Windmill unit a lot, and it cooled the space well with little noise. I will be replacing the few other window units with more Windmills as needed.

As a Coloradan, migrating to New York City five years ago was... sticky. Pretty sure I'd never experienced heat, humidity—ALL of it like it was in NYC. And to top it off, he's a hot sleeper!! Summers in Texas Hill Country can be brutal, especially in a windowed room with no central air. This gem has made my Sunroom a cool utopia for my pack of rescue dogs. Everything about the unit was a breeze (pun intended). The order arrived quickly. It unboxed easily, and setup was detailed step-by-step in the instructions. As a 64 y.o. woman, I was able to do the install all by myself. And with the app, I can control its functions from my phone. I am so impressed, I also bought a Windmill Air Purifier and Windmill Fan!

I am impossibly picky, so when I say my Windmill AC is perfect, I mean it. It is shockingly simple to install, has a super-sleek design, is energy efficient, and despite its outstanding cooling power, is whisper quiet to live with in my one-room studio apartment. It also comes from a small business, not a corporate behemoth, with a refreshingly personable approach to customer service. All that to say, I highly recommend the Windmill AC over all the rest. It really is perfect — even if you are impossibly picky like me.

I have a small house in upstate New York that is about 1000 ft.2 and my 10,000 BTU Windmill Air extremely quietly cools the whole house even in the hottest days of the summer. It's attractive, easy to change filters on, and extremely quiet, which is what I really need since I sit very close to it in my living room. It is certainly the best air conditioner I've ever had and I have suggested it to many people. It is well worth the money spent. Before purchasing the Windmill AC Unit, I tried a more established brand and ended up returning it within two weeks—it was loud, difficult to use, and barely made a difference in the room's temperature. As soon as I installed the Windmill, the difference was immediate. The air felt fresher, the sound level is perfect (more like subtle white noise than an AC unit), and the sleek design fits seamlessly into my space.The app is also incredibly user-friendly, which makes controlling everything easy. I would choose this unit again and again over other brands. My only suggestion would be to offer additional window insulation or panel sizes—my window is unusually wide, so I had to DIY and cut extra insulation to make it work.Aside from that minor issue, I absolutely love this AC, and the customer service team has been amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

The design is simplistic so it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb in my bedrooms and living room. - The low humming as opposed to louder clanky sounds of the other typical brands is the selling point for me! I also like that I'm able to program it from my phone so on those hot days I can have the house cooled down before getting home. - customer service was also very accommodating and punctual. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.
